@fabianheinrich28123 жыл бұрын
Hereditary was BAD .... and not the "hot shit" bad , more the NOT GOOD AT ALL Bad. only good scene was when the girls head was crunshed while driving . But other than that ... naked people have a summoning party .... it could not have been more disappointing. oh yes and the motto of our group is beheading . I came up with this plot all by myself , wow ... heavy duty .... no in all honesty : hereditary was the worst (wannabe)horror movie of the last 20 years. only rivaled by "the lodge" . horrible horrible bad movies.
@Sonny_Ruggiero3 жыл бұрын
@@fabianheinrich2812 Come on bruh! I really liked “HEREDITARY”a renewed style of psychological horror,even in terms of scenography it is very well developed, as well as the photograph taken care of in the smallest details.Plus the subliminal messages on the walls that put together in the end form the meaning of the film👌🏽 Ari Aster did a great job for me. This is my personal opinion as the ancient Romans said "De Gustibus" Peace Man ✌️
@fabianheinrich28123 жыл бұрын
@@Sonny_Ruggiero Like what you want , but every movie, that i do not feel any horror at all , is not a horror movie to me. The lodge was horroble , because it was horribly bad. and this one. i mean i never thought anything to be horrible . and the ugly little girl ? phew i mean talking about a horrible make up - job. what can i say. i like slow burn . when you are killed by ur own imagination. The house of the devil. this is slow burn, and it chills me. hereditary never chilled me , i only thought it to be awefull. and the plot explanation was disapointing to me. i always felt like i was supposed to be scared but wasn't. Hereditary and the lodge both have the same problem. they both have really nice single scenes , they have nice ideas for one or two scenes , but they don't have a story. both movies are just a string of scenes put together instead of a story that needed to be told. just my 5 cent.
@porkeywings3 жыл бұрын
@@fabianheinrich2812 Hereditary is more disturbing than scary, the horror lies in watching these terrible events happen and the psychological toll it takes on the family rather than the actual demon or cultists. The fact that they are being stalked and tortured to be prepared for a fate which they cannot escape. If nothing else I think the acting was terrific, the complicated family dynamic was conveyed very well through the characters. I can see your criticisms but its not an 'awefull' film by any means.

Mom: "There is something wrong with this beach." Possible reasons: • The water is too cold. • Too many abandoned toys of missing children in the sand. • Dead bodies are washing up along the shore. • A six year old girl turned into an adult in less than an hour, and now she is having a baby. • My 7 year old son is going through puberty, and soon after getting crows feet. • My kids are growing like weeds, but luckily their clothing is the new grow-to-fit brand. • We can't leave the beach or we will die. Besides those minor problems, it's sunny, not overcrowded with tourists, the waves sound soothing crashing along the shore, and it's just all around a beautiful beach. I'd just recommend that you heed the warning and leave your children at home.

@FriedSynapse3 жыл бұрын
This depends on the type of temporal activity on the beach. From what I saw, the children weren't aware of what happened to them... so there was no separation in the timeline of the movie. Meaning, the kids didn't get stranded somewhere for 10 years and then find their way back. It seems like rapid onset aging for sure. Bu what if they are aging there as they would have if they'd lived normal lives? So what if the 6 year old is just experiencing a pregnancy she WILL have later in her life? No one on the beach GOT her pregnant... it's someone from her future. The others could be dying of car accidents they will have or diseases they will have. Every lap of the wave could be aging them by a month or something and so maybe if they break a bone at 35, they'll experience that too? Just a guess. I've seen a LOT of time travel movies.

Actually that has happened since most of the jobs were sent overseas and they had to be in college or military or go the Halliburton way to make a living not to mention food service jobs while living with parents and when they did get a house lost it almost immediately bc the housing crisis and the jobs were sent over seas so they didn’t start to get real so called jobs until in their 30s while dealing with aging parents and drama and now the parents and others are old and dying. So to a certain degree this hasn’t happened but at the same time it has happened to the X generation. This reminds of of an comic book I read when I was a kid. About the magician named Mandrake. On one of his adventures, he encounters a cursed forest with the fountain of youth within it. People who enters the forest age "as fast as the crow flies". If you can find the fountain of youth, you can jump into it and the fountain makes you age backwards. But almost everyone fails and dies of old age with just spending some hours in the forest. Until Mandrake comes along. Interesting.
