looks great ! I have 2m transverter from transverter store made to work with 2950. they are kit form. I got it for 2m SSB that I do not have . only FM 2m/70CM . got 6m on 7300. what I found is for repeater use my 2950 has no PL tones . my ANYTONE is 4 band 10M 6M 2M 70CM FM only . and has PL . I also have 6m transverter but never put it together since I got 7300 with 6M all mode. had to get cavity switch for ant. VHF/UHF dual band ant. 6M and long wire for HF . looks fun ! love old-school . running all tube amps except 70cm. 73's

Awesome transverters - they plug and play on FT-101E, FT-101Z, FT-901, and FT-902s... DEMI sells a handy gadget (AOS-28) to make them work with any 25 watt 28 mhz rig. I have three or four of these and some 50 and 432 modules. 73

Great video! I think you have a affinity with attenuators :D I have a Icom 260E 2m Radio with SSB. But I cant use it on Freenet (149,5) Because the Radio only goes to 148,5. So im missing one whole MHz. Big thumbs up from Germany. 13LB01

what is your callsign?
@markusm.lambers8893

@@AB1Vampire Stop! That not correct! You have to give your call every ten minutes when transmitting on the HAM-Band! (2m is an exclusive HAM-band!) That's an international law to identify your station, from time to time. This means there is no privacy to know the call of an amateur-radio station! It's an official call, you have to use it on HAM-radio to identify yourself and all the other people speaking to each other! It is mandatory to have a license, a HAM-radio license, to do HAM-radio! No license, no transmitting on HAM-bands! There is no privacy on HAM-radio. All what you say, do, make there, is official speaking word! With all the good and the bad thing, relating to this/your behavior. Listening is allowed! All other is illegal! A HAM-call is a single call for 'every individual person' participating in HAM-radio. My call is the 'number-plate' for using HAM-radio-frequencys. No one has the same call/(plate) than I! It's my official legislative name on the HAM-radio-bands. It is not CB, where you can do 'every stupid thing' that you want! It's a regulated official service, regulated all over the hole world! And this little 'price' you have to 'pay', for all the privileges you have as an amateur-radio-operator, is not worth to discus about it! If you are one of that stupid people, 'making all better and greater again', than please ignore my message to all the other around here! Having a HAM-radio licence is one of the most privileges you can have in a real free world! You are able to make contacts, all over the world, all over the different political, rasistic and/or religious borders in your mind or the the political systems! It works before, and after the 'cold war'! And is still going strong, ... ! Having been a HAM since 1989, and proud to be one of that guys, that make the world a little bit more friendly, ... ! Making friends all over the world. Having contacts without any fee, ... ! Being free. 73 de Markus ; db9pz Sorry for my bad Englisch, it's not my nativ tounge, but this here is You-Tube, and I am not an American.

I am asking me the same! Having an ICOM 7300 and doing 2m SSB, you have to be an HAM-radio guy! And been licensed. So, please, what's your call? 73 de Markus ; db9pz Wonder me, why all your amps have only 27MHz input-filters, and the output-filter of the extraordinary 4-pill-amp has a 27MHz band-pass, and no 'chanching filter' for different bands, ... ! It would be better to have such a wonderful PA, for 160 to 6m, or even higher! (Looking at your videos, for an 'idea', for my little FT-817, to get a little more power, when using it, out of my car, ... ! So 150 to 300W output, may be better for a 40m/20m/15m or 10m mobile-station, and a some different mobil-antennas!

@@markusm.lambers8893 Just because you are a licensed amateur radio operator it doesn't give you the right to demand something from someone else and especially not one in another country. You are NOT the Amateur Radio Police, you are just an operator like everybody else. You certainly don't know where this video was filmed and you don't know his license status. He doesn't need to give you anything. If we assume that the gentleman doing the tests in this video is actually in the US then according to part 15 of the FCC rules he is fine without the identification. He is testing this equipment with minimal power into a dummy load and the actual ERP is going to be a fraction of a micro-watt, the RFI from his PSU will be greater. By the way, if I was allowed to demand things from fellow radio-amateurs, I'd certainly insist on you not caplitalising "ham" into that "HAM" abomination, it is super annoying, I bet you call a Macintosh a "MAC" also.
This AM radio still costs thousands of dollars-why?
