The big mystery for me has always been where and how did Kenrick obtain all these old JBL classics before he refurbishes them? Most of them existed in the US only and now it seems they're all in Japan. Did Kenrick buy up all the old JBL drivers and stock? Then re-manufacture cabinets, crossover and refurbish drivers to his own spec? I can hardly believe these old JBL classics just popped into his hands by pure luck.

良いスピーカ（高価とも違う相応しい言葉が見当たらない）は、音を小さくして聞いても、幅というか深みというか、薄ペっらい音でないのを思い出しました。人と同じだな〜〜〜。

凄いご自宅ですね。インテリアの趣味が良い。いい音聴きながら大都会の夜景を見下ろす。窓から覗ける景色からするとＡですね。羨ましい！ただＴ・Ｍだと思うので音量上げてお隣さんに聞こえないか心配。高遮音石膏ボードでもつかってるのかな？

Forget the glass. I am wondering about speaker placement. Do folks in Japan have different views than in America where they preach pulling speakers out from walls? Or are these JBLs designed slightly differently? I am legitimately interested.

PCオーディオはPCの電源の質で音が大きく違います。まず強力な電源回路を積んだデスクトップを組むべきでしょうね。みんながよく使うi-MacやノートPCで良い音などあり得ない!!

Too much sh sh sound even with vintage speakers.

This is the specific nature of the sound of these JBL loudspeakers and weak acoustics of this listening room. Too much glass and hard surfaces. But overall the sound of the stereo system is OK.
