Good morning, Sara. I actually teared up a little bit on this video. My brother was a cast member when California Adventure opened and he worked there for 13 years. He was an advanced pin trader. Back in the days when they actually trained you how to do all this. He had So many volumes of the book that you showed. It brought back memories. Happy ones! Thanks for sharing!.❤❤

Oh that's so wonderful that your brother worked for Disney for that long. Such an amazing experience. Pin trading was so different back in those days, training was different and done well. We had old pins way back but over the years I have them away because we were not interested in them. Recently we started collecting all over again. I wish I had these books we need to try to look for them. Thank you Sara!

Oh I know...that would be huge. Though someone told me that they did make a volume 2 with the years 2008 to 2012. So I just bought that one. Should have some good pins in it! 😁

What a fun book! I'd love to look at the whole thing thoroughly. That book came out when I was in high school so it would be cool to see all the pins I missed out on because I was too young and had no money. 😭🤣

I have seen a few of these books for sale. They are great for learning and understanding the value of pins. I was in my twenties but still at the time had very little money and couldn't buy the pins I wanted. Now I'm trying to hunt a few down. Thanks for stopping by! ✨😊

Oh keep growing that collection. I don't see pin trading slowing down anytime soon, it's just an amazing journey to collect what we love in life and share it with others. I lived collecting but love that there is an outlet like KZfaq to share with others. I'm always learning new things about pins here myself! I found volume 2 for this book so I'll share it too when it comes in! 🥰✨

So I found out that there is a second book that came out after mine. So I just bought it, it looks like mine but has the pins from 2007 to 2012 which is fun! So look for the green and blue additions! The blue is volume 2 🤩

So I've seen the book around a few places, eBay, on Amazon but used editions. There is a second volume that I picked up and show when it comes in. Pin trading did start in 1999 for the Millennium. I didn't work for WDW long because I was homesick, but enjoyed my time at the parks. So many amazing pins! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, it was fun to do...could have gone on longer! Lol so much to talk about! 🥰✨

Hi Sara!! That book is amazing. Which edition would you recommend. I don't have many older pins but would like to start collecting some. The other day I was cleaning and found an old pin from 2003 I think. It's a Nemo pin. I will send you a photo on IG. I love, love the spinner pins, and I wouldn't mind owning a couple. There are two good Edition books. The one I showed is from the beginning to 2007 on Disney pins. The second is from where the first ended up to 2012. I wish they made more, helps to see what the real pins looked like. So the books are Disneyana Guide to Pin Trading. Both are great books! Would love to see the Nemo pin! Very cute! ✨
