4 жыл бұрынToday I'm giving Skipper an older/teenage doll makeover! This makeover is specifically for my Life with Barbie Skipper character! Many of you have commented that she looks so much younger than Ryder in the series as well, so it's time for a change. I've been using the "Hula Dance" Skipper for her character, so aging her up with the same look. I gave her a reroot, and swapped her onto a Made to Move articulated body so now she has many more options for clothes! Hey! My name is Kelsey, and I'm a doll artist, animator and collector. I make videos on doll collecting, doll remakes, and more! I love her older look. She's beautiful. I'm going to do this too. I wasn't sure at first but seeing yours makes me more confident that she'll look good. I'm going to use the winter passport one with the cobalt blue streak in her hair. She's my favorite Skipper.

I forgot to mention that in the video! I only had a bright neon pink kanekalon hair and it didn't look good at all lol I agree tho! You will see something added in! 👀

If she was just a random doll, i would leave her eye color the way it is. But as a character, i would definitely change it so it matches. It would help keep people from getting confused if they didn't watch this video.😊💜💜

I love the makeover which you gave her. The new Skipper looks lovely with the dark brown rerooted long hair and her nice sweatshirt and lovely shorts. Her boyfriend really loves her gorgeous new looks.

I spray the hair with water and cover it with a towel! The water/towel protects it from burning! Thank you! 😊

You did a great job! It would have been nice if she had the saved eye color ( just because the lighter color is very fitting of her and the Barbie family ) but I think the new color actually suits her very well.
