A cloche in a lidless tureen, the formal symmetry of shelves flanking sconces topped with topiaries but filled with all American milk glass, lamp on the kitchen counter... too many perfect yet warm and personal touches. Your videos warm my soul and make me want to rework my home too

Isn’t it amazing all of the things that fill a goodwill store were donated all over the country.? It’s really amazing some of the things you can find. Since 2020 my northeast Ohio goodwill which is in a suburb of Cleveland has jacked up the prices over 50%. Use to be able to return clothing up to 5 days, but they took that away as well as their $1.00 colored tags that they would run with their 50% off color every week. I have to try and find the 1/2 price clothes or drive 30 miles into the next county at a goodwill that doesn’t goudge. Love your videos and music choices.

Our Goodwill never runs any sales and they took away bags to carry our goods out, the prices are also up. It's very hit and miss.

It is fun looking and redoing my home for the seasons, it's hard to walk by and not buy but I let stuff go sometime's I can kick myself and other times, I'm Ok not getting it. I do like the small cake plates to put candles on I now have 2 so no more. 😊

Oh.....you have. Charming home I'd say almost primitive ' shabby chic white w natural wood..ur house appears to be around 1910....1920!? Those windows ! That mantle fireplace surround . beautiful.....I have a vintage 1933 American Craftsman Bungalow w stucco exterior in West TEXAS......it has a wood floor & french doors ..glass door knobs ...I freeze in winter but manage ...still have grown to love it ....I'm too cluttered but distressed over it so much ...yes like you said ...put some things AWAY " ..I just don't have many built INS ,or a garage or basement.....large front porch ...I have some lovely things also in corners wrapped up...stored" really between working & days off I'm trying to clear out ..wish I could afford a StorageNEED REAL BAD UNIT ....... I LOVED THE ENDING LOVELY BUT I CRY🙏

Hello! I would say my style is European Farmhouse/French country/English countryside lol... its all over the place! Our house was built between 1890 and 1909. We heard it took the original owner 30 years to complete it.

I have the lamp you bought, and I love it! I bought it new several years ago, and I think it has been in every room of our house, including the hallway. It is currently in the living room, again, with a black drum shade sitting on top, and the crystal just peeks out from under. It looks gorgeous. Great finds.

Love the lamp ! I actually liked the two matching Greek revival urn style lamps next to it as well ! Would be pretty with linen shades on either side of a bed. A blogger i follow Edith and Evelyn used similar lamps in her home.
