@@LennertTale In RS3 at least there's a memorial plaque in Faladar park with a specific time in the 5th age. It's also mentioned in the novels apparently. In OSRS It's just a event.

That's the song and video that made nightwish one is favorite bands. That particular song obviously being my favorite, and bringing such strong ties to RS nostalgia and my adolescence. There was also a PK video that I cannot find that played For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica which became another one of my RS anthems. If anybody knows what video I'm talking about PLEASE let me know. It was a guy who I believe was something of a zerker, he used a whip and zammy book, and the vid started off in edgeville but later transitioned to mage bank. I remember he had like 90 some attack. Vid was from around probably 06, pre massacre

@@flextape467 A bug caused players ejected from a player owned homes fight pit kept them being able to attack other players regardless of location but couldn't be retaliated against. The biggest offender of abusing this bug is Durial321, the character in the video. The green party hat he stole from one of his victims.

@@sdsdsdssdsdxdd He probably means that as long as you remove the song from the game fast enough, you avoid legal action. It was only in the game for the duration of the World 666 event. The remix itself is legal, but using it in a commercial game is risky AF, since they make millions a year off this game. It's likely they got permission from the copyright holder to have a remix of their song in the game for a short period of time. As long as its temporary, it's usually not that hard to get permission from the music label, or pay a small fee for it.

@@gr6e As the other reply says, 6 years ago they actually added a mini event to "commemorate" the Falador Massacre, which is where this theme comes from to begin with. (Even though said music is pretty much a heavily remixed Planet Hell to avoid copyright...)

Someone posted that on the forums. It looks like Mod Ash said that on Twitter. I think it's true, since it's copyrighted and based on Planet Hell by Nightwish. The same happened with the 2016 Easter event music track on RS3, since it was based on "Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory".
