JJ72 was one of the best bands I've seen live - Such a shame they never released the third album - The first two were absolute classics.

I never like a band playing live if I didn't know them, as I can't enjoy songs as much (it's the first time you hear them so you can't get that nice feeling of your "loved" songs being played live). However, I first experienced JJ72 in a festival back in 2000 - first time I had seen/heard them and I was INSTANTLY hooked. I kept visiting a local record shop which specialised in underground music EVERY WEEK asking for the CD. When I finally got their debut album, it became one of the very few albums where I loved each and every song. A few years later "I to Sky" came out while I was in my first year in a local college before moving abroad for uni studies and I have associated a lot of the lovely melancholic memories with friends with this band....JJ72 and My Vitriol have left a beautiful mark in my teenage heart. Thank you!

@@narannavan Haha I was not in the band, just a saddo superfan as a teenager. Bitter sweet because I never got to see them live when Hilary was still there and reminds me of simpler times! 🤘

Best band most underated band they should have been huge. If they had a been around in the early 90s they woulda been bigger than Nirvana

Seems they had it all, could have been Placebo. My x had them in her collection and thought they were crap. I'm glad I found those few albums I love them.
