So glad I was 17 and raving hard, the 90s was easily the best decade for raving, could smoke a cheeky Zoot in the club, chicks didn't have so much attitude, used to roll up to clubs in my golf GTi thinking am da man in my iceberg jeans moschino shirt.... what great memories.....da chicks...all the buff chicks went to the garage raves ....had to have my game on point 😂😂😂😂😂play garage music to my two kids and they love it......except when they see me skanking around the living room..😂😂😂😂

@@herochrisx Skanking is a term from Jamaican patois, it means to dance. If you listen to Roots music you'd know the word. Bob Marley used the word a lot in his lyrics. Big up for asking sharing the knowledge about my culture. Hence why UK Garage legends Heartless Crew had a lyric called Female Skanker. Also there was well know UK Garage MC called MC Skanker, I gather it's because of his dancing.

I remember the last weekend before it came in me and my mates went down fabric, the amount of police and sniffer dogs at faringdon station trying to catch all the weed coming down for the last smokeup... still didnt get us. end of an era, bag of weed, bag of magic mushrooms, beats n bass, dancefloor, best years of my life.

This is the best garage mix I've heard because it's not a commerial garage mix. Most I've come across have all the same garage tunes. Love that this one is different. Takes me back to my teenage school days.

Raving in the early 00s was banging when every tune that came on in the club was a banging - then you went back to your mates house and put the tunes on.. I was a blatant garage girl.. Back in the days was great!!!
