Miyako is the Ambassador for Dean guitars in Japan. Midori is the Ambassador for ESP guitars in Japan. These ladies are on a whole other level.

Asami has been working hard on her English pronunciation. Her consonants are getting a lot better than a couple years back.

Lovebites amazing as usual. Miyako played her new Dean V signature guitar. A few weeks ago she did an unboxing video of this guitar on her official KZfaq channel.

I knew Haruna, Midori, and my girl Miyako could throw down with the best of them, but I hadn't heard Miho do it yet. I had a feeling that she had it in her, but I hadn't seen it so far. Now I have, and it makes me quite happy. What a treat these five musicians are.

About Miyako's guitar, it's actually her own signature Dean which she got towards the end of last year. There are videos on here(with English subtitles) of her opening it, testing it for the first time, and going over the specs and exactly what she chose for it if you want more details.

Asami definitely has a gospel singing background. That last note of hers is definitely from the gospel singing playbook. Wow!!!! Just wow.

About this Helloween cover: Lovebites performed at big Wacken Open Air 2018 becoming the first Japanese all-female rock band to appear at the German festival. At this festival they got to watch the german dino power metal band Helloween from backstage. Haruna's style is influenced by Helloween's drummer Uli Kusch.🤘

Miyako used to play the Dimebag Special, but it's not a V, more a Z. As others have commented here, this is her own signature Dean. You can buy it if you want, for a few Gs. Myako does play a Dimebag Darrell Deal ML. The guitar she is playing here is Miyako's Singnature Dean Flying V. You can see her opening the package it arrived in on her Miyako Metal TV channel on KZfaq.

Hey Richard! That flying V is Miyako's own signature Dean model. But, she does play a Dean ML (Dimebag's shape), with a black burst finish if im not mistaken, you will eventually see it on their Live videos as it is her down tuned guitar for certain songs where they play in drop D tuning. I saw a video on her YT channel where she is wearing a Pantera t-shirt and when asked about it, she refered to Dimbag as "legend", she clearly is inspired by him too! Both Band Maid and Lovebites are playing Live shows (i mean actual Live shows not online) in Japan early on this year and both have their shows completely sold out. Hopefully Europe and USA are next on the list. Cant wait for the day it happens! Yeah, there are some reviewers say that Asami the singer's voice doesn't fit metal. I wonder, is metal such a conservative music? Is metal a cultural legacy? It doesn't rock. No country singers sing like Hank Williams now days, no jazz musician plays like Benny Goodman any longer, Chuck Berry and Elvis were odd singers when they were freshmen, how about Beatles and Stones, Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, even "classic music" keeps changing for hundreds of years. Why does only metal refuse new taste? And, some reviewers get obsessed by Asami's accent in English, she speaks perfectly her mother tongue though. Is foreign accent an element of music? Isn't it matter of philology? Is it, metal must be sung in perfect English? Does music belong only to English speakers? Is it right to push out brilliant and outstanding singers from metal for such reasons like non-metal like voice and foreign accent? There are very peculiar reviewers in metal.

I've recently discovered and became a fan of Lovebites myself. I would like to point out one thing: you're wrong about their name. They chose their name not from a Def Leppard song but from a Halestorm song "Love Bites (So Do I)" Anyway I enjoy your reaction videos and I'm kind of an old school nerd myself:)

her vocals cant compare to kiske, but she will hold her own, helloween is a band i was raised on and love the tune, these girls do rock simply because they do, let alone doing this song to this degree. have you heard any modern Micheal Kiske stuff? his voice has gotten a neat trick in it that took me a while to figure out and now that i too do it i have a hard time not doing it even when i shouldnt, look for Kiske/Summerville, city of heros

Hearing this song being sang by anyone but Michael Kiske is so weird, and this is not the shot at this fine lady, even Helloween other singers couldn't do it properly, it's just one of those songs that the original singer made it so his, it really shouldn't be covered by anyone else, even Helloween playing it with Andy was eh, just play some other songs, you got like 50 that are good enough to make the set list.

Metal heads

Despite her talent on many instruments, Miyako is far behind Midori when it comes to "metal" behavior, either on stage or IRL.

I still can't get past the vocals . That constant vibrato in her voice is irritating. just my opinion.

I'm sorry...But Miho needs to go see either Misa or Koga and they need to have a girls only bass camp. Her little solo was weak and clearly needs some improvement. Maybe could be the song. But...Yeah clearly room for improvement.
