For having seen Sabaton last Friday in Paris, I was expecting a Tommy moment. It didn't happen but, he had his Sabaton moment by launching Swedish Pagans. Overall the show was amazing !!! This song And High is one of my favourite of Iron Maiden, and this Power Metal cover is by far the best I ever heard. As my daughter has fun saying, I'm a perfect Tommy fangirl ! Even if I'm here father...

I was the one who was surprised that you were there live on Friday at the Tommy premiere from the US. It was midday here in Europe, and I don't know which American time zone you logged in from, it must have been quite early there. 😁 Why am I listening to Tommy cover? That he doesn't play the song the way it was originally written. There is enough of this on the Internet for those who need it, both better and worse. In his covers always have something Tommy, and it can be the use of the synthesizer (or keyboard) as well. You can call this "Swedish", but at least you recognize Tommy from this and his singing voice. This is what makes a Tommy cover a Tommy cover. Later, Iron Maiden also used synthesizers in their songs. Later, in 1988, already Iron Maiden also used synthesizers in their songs. (Seventh son of a seventh son) And they never moved to Sweden.
