LEGENDS OF THE OLD WEST presented by Black Barrel Media. Buffalo Bill Cody and his friend/idol Wild Bill Hickok become scouts for the Army after the Civil War. Cody and the Fifth Cavalry fight Cheyenne chief Tall Bull and his Dog Soldiers. And then Cody meets two men who will change his life: Texas Jack Omohundro and Ned Buntline. Texas Jack saves Bill’s life during a battle with Native American warriors, and then the two friends take the plunge into acting in Ned Buntline’s play.

I don't agree with Men.killing the Buffalo off ! To help the greedy eletes and Gov. To kill off the Native Indean Tribel people ! No sutch history had to happen like that ! Treaty were signed and white men and Federal Gov. Greed of land steals ! Broke every single treaty Ever signed in honor of the Native Indian chiefs ! And false forked toungs ! Whitch shows no honor at all in our Federal Gov.! As It is now all over again in this United States. White House ! No differences! Just changing faces times and places ! Understand killing only what you eat ! But not to kill every Buffalo in sight ! This is just a federal way of comiting a Geneside ! Against the real deserving of land and respect ! Only true Americans in this country ! My heart bleeds for all who died on alll sides ! But not for them black souls in Federal Gov. Then and now ! History goes in a big giant circle ! Dem should think the drugs and bombings on Isreal could perhaps toutch their own kids and grand kids ! Never a guarantee for it not to ! In western days same kind sets destroid innocent Family ! Souldgiers killing the Indean tribes ! And dieing them selves ! Eletes and Federal Gov Sacrifice millions to feed their own greed ! Just as the White House is now ! Sadly there so called Intelegeant collage. Minded graduates Congman still haven't learned ! Not to repeat the past history of the American Republic greed that destroid. Towns and people. Off our nation ! And our Alies ! This is a great history show very informative ! Getting to know the lives and seasonings behind western heroes life styles ! Why their jobs turned out like they did ! About their lives at home that caused their Destiny's to go the way they did ! Thank you sir ! For your hard research to bring those of us interested in old west life And historical facts ! I will continue watch and learn from your investigations into past heroes and towns folks that Vesuvius to understand more about our own selves and the proletariat made America what it is most beautiful. Country Ghost towns still holding historical buildings and left behind remnants of the past ! ❤🇺🇸🇺🇸👍☝

Not sure there were any heroes on that frontier. Plenty of adventurers, so I guess many good stories.

It sure is a sad situation that this channel doesn't have way more subscribers and views. This just tells you how our generation has dwindled so bad that nobody cares to learn history anymore because everyone is too stuck and focused in the moment.

Most of us are 50+ yrs old, so we had the privilege of learning HISTORY at school. Today? Not so much. A very sad commentary on American society.
