The DT466 was for sure a good one! We have a Detroit 471 with a straight pipe that runs our sawmill, man that 471 sings when it dives into a big oak log. We have had people stop and just stand around listening to it run. 72 inch circle saw, 24 foot track old Frick mill.

That’s awesome! Have you seen my old video of my uncles sawmill? It had a 471, I miss those days of sawing more then anything. Thanks for watching

Yes sir i seen your video, i need to make one here of ours. It was a steam mill and we added the 471. Also has a big edger and planer. we use to run it everyday up until a few years ago.Its still in running shape, were just too old to run it now! @@khtractors

@@km4fsi827 there’s nothing in my life that I miss more then the sawmill experience. So many good times with family and neighbors there. I wish my kids could have experienced it.

Whew that is one narrow road, makes a person cringe when a cars coming and no shoulders. Some nice scenery out where you live, I bet you love it! Good driving, I would do that when I was younger, but now I would let someone else do it. Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a great Friday.
