My mother had two oleander bushes, a pale pink and a white each side of her front gate. From the time my sister and I were about three and five years old we never once had the inclination to eat the flowers and leaves of her oleanders and neither did our cat or dog. I love oleanders and have so me in my front and back garden. They really give your garden a Mediterranean feel

Here in Spain we have them everywhere in parks, roads, etc.

I love these. I took a cutting and took about two months to root. I just potted it up in soil after getting it acclimated to the sun yesterday so I’ll see how it goes. I’m trying to grow it into a tree because I really want a nice pink tree in my yard. I plan to keep it potted to take it with me if I move. It’s my baby now lol

Definiteky NOT annuals. Ive had mine in the cold Uk for the past 15 years.....

That is great that you have had such success! Most oleander are zones 8-10, but I have heard there are some hardy types. This isn't a hardy types though, and I'm zone 6b.
