It was a huge bummer to me when I discovered that the grips are not interchangeable between the regular crystal grip and the one that’s made for the switch lite. I have this in a bundle with max carry case on pre-order and I’m really excited for it to get here. Great video!

Coming from someone who bought the crystal grip in 2021 for the V2 Switch (Aka Red Box) if you take it on and off frequently just like a soft shell phone case it will get loose and stretch abit. I haven't bought the NeoGrip yet but judging by the looks it's far more rigid.

I love how you say that it still fits in a small case. Sometimes I want a small case and not a large one to carry around. I wanted the neo but afraid of the joy ones scratching from me taking the case off and on a lot. I have some Hori grips also I want to use some different ones from time to time.

This is the best channel for Switch accessories. Keep up the great work. This grip case seems almost perfect. But I’d much prefer a solid colored back. I’ve never been a fan of clear cases. Shows too much fingerprints.

I have this case! I love it just wish it was more snug and the triggers were more responsive. Just nitpicking really cause its a great case and makes gaming alot more comfortable

I recently changed my grip case for the switch, I loved the satisfye, however, I had the first version grip and it scratched both my joycons and the back of the switch. Since the satisfye are hard to get a hold of in the uk (especially since I’m wanting the 2nd version grip and large case) I thought I’d try out the skull and co crystal with max carry case. Yes it’s a nice case, however the right hand grip handle isn’t as comfy as the satisfye. After purchasing the skull and co, I noticed the jump gate dock they make. I looked all over to see if those docks could fit underneath the max carry case. I had now luck until I came across this video by pure luck. That’s reassured me now! Definitely buying the jumpgate dock now! Thanks 🙏

I have found the crystal gripcase is not very dockable. Almost impossible to get it to plug in.

This video is old but I just want to clarify, not all grips are compatible, 1st gen gripcase uses a different kind of grips who are not compatible with current gripcases and viceversa

Very nice finally arrived but when placed in dock I have to push the switch down into the dock and hold it so it will display on the tv screen.

I do love the crystal grip its looks great but I wish Skull & Co. Would make a matte black version instead of the crystal grip

I tried to dock my OLED using this grip but I won't connect to my TV. Is this a known issue?

I have this case for my Switch Lite and love it. The plus and trigger grips feel great. Just received this for my Switch OLED and it just isn't feeling all that great to me. I'm not sure if the TPU shell is thinner/weaker. If it's the weight or size of the OLED in this design. It doesn't feel all that comfortable to me and feels light/flimsy/cheap. I ordered through Amazon here in the U.S. so I'm going to return it. I'm reluctantly going to place an order for the Satisfye (never owned one). I find the price and shipping to be a bit much for what you get and I'm not terribly keen on having zero protection but my hands tend to get crampy when I play my OLED and I got it specifically for hand held mode (I never play docked). I don't want to dissuade anyone, it's a perfectly viable product, just not working for me. If you want something that feels more solid maybe try the NeoGrip from Skull and Co as an alternative (or the Satisfye).

Just grabbed the neo grip. Only ever used Satisfye but I butchered that with a Stanley knife and its bugging me 😅

The clear case does NOT work with the dock, no matter how hard it’s pressed in. I presume the case is too thick. It feels great on but disappointed it cannot be docked.

My unit is not dockable no matter how hard I press it down. The bottom of the case is so thick.

Why does it have a lot of bad reviews on Amazon? Was thinking about getting one but now I'm unsure.

Mine doesn't really fit in dock, i must push down and hold for seconds till hdmi connected.. i expected it will fit flawlessly.. but for portable mode it is really good, best case for OLED now, hope they make the white one instead of clear

For some reason my brand new oled switch will not charge or connect to the TV with this case on it. If I wiggle it round a bit it will just flash on and then off almost immediately. I have to take the case of for it to work,unless it is in hand held or table top mode. Can you please tell me why? If it still doesn't work I will just get the jump gate dock to see if that'll work.

I got this today and I would love to use the original dock with it but now concern that it will scratch the screen with how tight It is in there looking at your video I can't see if you have a screen protector on it or not. Has it scratch your screen?

I bought this case because I loved the original grip case so much on my old Switch… really disappointed by the one I got… grip slides must have been off in the mold as some of the grips don’t fit and worst of all… it simply doesn’t fit clean in the dock… case catches when inserting the console and requires more force than I care to use when docking my console… also difficult to keep the floating triggers aligned properly which causes the top bumpers to not react cleanly

I've read some people's concerns about overheating if docked with a case on. Your thoughts?

In all honesty I think the neo grip exist for satisfye fans that may not have enough funds to get a grip from them that’s why skull n co made a cheaper version of the Satisfye… but idk

idk what happened to skull&co. they used to be THE grip brand. maybe they are over-saturating the market or rushing products out to get ahead of competitors but i'm very disappointed with both these grips. same satisfye is almost 100cad or i'd consider making the switch no pun intended
