Oleksandr Usyk beats Tyson Fury to win historic undisputed heavyweight championship fight

Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by split decision to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, the first since Lennox Lewis.
Fury was on the brink of being stopped in the ninth round as he received a standing count and Usyk added the WBC title to his WBA, IBF and WBO belts after earning victory with scores of 115-112, 113-114, 114-113 in Saudi Arabia.

That was never a split decision. Referee rescued Fury in the 9th by conducting the slowest count in history allowing him to be saved by the bell, Usyk could have finished Fury off when stopped defending himself when he collapsed over on the ropes and choose not to because that’s not the kind of fighter he is. By any objective, rational view of this fight indicates that Usyk clearly won. Roll on the rematch.

How sweet it is to see the Fury's silenced. I've always said that as soon as he faced someone he couldn't bully and intimidate Tyson would get rinsed. Seeing him staggering around like a newborn giraffe in round 9 was so sweet! 😂

Finally all the fake hype behind Fury about being the 'greatest heavyweight XD ' has been shown to all the dumbass fans who jumped on that bandwagon . The fact that people don't say it was robbery says it all. Simple as that. I gave Usyk win and it could have been a draw, but Tyson didn't do enough to get his victory and highest result he could have gotten was a draw.

I gave Fury 3 of the first six and 2 of the last six. Usyk took the other 7 and also the 10-8 round. 115-112 and fairly easy fight to score

Round 1 Usyk Round 2 Usyk Round 3 Split (round I call that could go both ways) Round 4 Tyson Round 5 Tyson Round 6 Tyson Round 7 Tyson Round 8 Usyk (bearly Usyk, he did a little more to win that round) Round 9 Usyk Round 10 Usyk (hard round for Usyk) Round 11 Split Round 12 Usyk Final results: Fury - 4 Confident rounds Usyk - 4 confident rounds +2 rounds that were slightly towards Usyks side Split rounds - 2 rounds that could go both ways RESULT: Usyk Won in a close fight or it could have been a draw at very least. Tyson didn't do enough to win, but draw would have been okay.

I’m Usyk fan and I rooted for him to win, but I’d not say the match was dominated by him. Tyson managed to compose himself and get the last 2 rounds after the brutal 9th, and I admire him for that. BUT, only because the ref helped Tyson. Had the fight stopped at 9th round, it’s a different story I’d say!

Fury's deluded if he thinks he did enough to get the decision. R6 was his chance to win by KO, but he couldn't do it. Usyk backed him up most of the fight and almost ended him in R9. Correct decision to the better boxer, better man, and just that bit better on fight night. Undisputed !!!

How much of a back hander did that ref get for round 9? I thkught he reffed a very good fight and stayed out if the way most of the time didnt get too involved. Untill it really mattered when he needed fo step in he did everything he could to save Fury even walked him to his stool. Should have been waved off in round 9. Fury was walking like a pissed uncle on a bluncing castle at a family BBQ
