i think that when it says "your debuff stacks" its referring to debuffs you inflict, not those inflicted on you. it makes a lot more sense for a legendary item lmao

There's something about tiny rougues that makes me feel the same way I do when you play Isaac. That anticipation when you get set up for an insane run, just waiting for one more piece of gear or trait to fall in place, I love it. It doesn't always work out, like this time, but the chance is what makes it fun. Thanks for playing this great game

War cry is on start of battle and on taking damage. The wooden clogs you passed up after the world 5 boss would have intimidated all enemies whenever you dash.

Yeah..saw the same thing..tho ultimately i think the boots he got for the companions helped out more long term as taking the pack leader trait completely nerfed his damage after that; though i dont know if he realized that technically lol

Except War Cry was already constantly triggering anyway, because of the fencing set. So he made the right choice, even if it was for the wrong reason.

the extra companion trait tanked your damage xd I really don't believe 20% atk / movement speed from the 2 extra raptors was worth only low end rolls on attacks, correct me if wrong (only at 29:19)

Event rooms normally provide more than 1 choice if not all rewards displayed (potion room lol), only certain ones that grant really good stuff give you only 1 option.

Tyler, periodical effects are effects in items/traits descriptions, it says periodically in blue Ex: [item] periodically applies [status] to all enemies in the room Reducing the time of those effects makes them more frequent

Also, War Cry gave you an on damage taunt effect, so you could've taken the clogs & they would've synergized well with your build 🙃 whoops! Happens to the best of us! This game has so much text for the player to absorb that it becomes impossible to remember everything off the top when making important decisions. You're killing it, though, with these videos, my dude! Edit: redundant comment 😅 someone else had already beat me to the punch

Unless you have a full build already, going for charm rewards is 100% bait. They only become good on later floors where you get higher rarity rewards from rooms. Most important item is of course weapons tho.

Bomb the chests if your not gonna open em. Usually get some gold or a key and I seem to always have plenty of bombs.

I love this game and am close to getting all the unlocks, I cannot wait for you to actually see just how much content your still missing (your on world tier 1 out of 8) which means ur missing major amount, gl. With future runs

You just skipped cinder this time and chose an inferior weapon as a difficulty modifier. That run was ground out the hard way the entire time. Well done.

Remember that you can bomb the chests you don't want to open, and that you can reroll weapons in the weapon room by using gold dice

If there's anything I learned from the comments on these videos, it is that while the game has complex systems that make it fun the descriptions of what things do need to be more clear and concise.

I honestly think they’re fine, it’s just that the systems are complex so it takes a long time to understand it fully. But as an action roguelike, you can also just “play well” and still win. So it’s great for those that desire going deeper with understanding, as well as those that just want to play. Before this update, there was close to zero text in the descriptions lol. It’s way better
