Recently found your channel, thanks for inviting us to this intimate space! It's also refreshing to see brand-new musicians who don't have a musical background in the family. Chamayou is one of my favorite interpreters for Ravel - esp. the Alborada, and Pavane.

I just love his Ravel Album. Especially with the more obscure Ravel pieces, like Serenade Grotesque or Menuet Antique, I havent found better interpretations by far. Also I was at the Elbphilharmonie for Messiaens Turangalila Symphonie and Yuja Wang was supposed to play but got sick and (luckily) Bertrand was able to replace her last minute. That was by far my best experience of live music

Interesting as a Midwestern American here ( 🇺🇸 ) .. the dialect of y’all is a hint of how y’all keep to yourselves eh? No Need for Words with Such Beauty as Melody, no?

Nice, intimate and very impressive interview - with extraordinary brilliant Ravel sound. Dear Olga, thank you for sharing it! (For a moment, an idea was turning in my head, what would happen if you both were playing the piano parts of the Sonata for 2 Pianos and Percussion.)

1. Contemporary "music" is shit. (ofc, in my humble opinion) 2. He is most definitely a very good pianist, technique-wise, but he completely missed the point (music) in the Liszt - tarantella. 3. Props for your interviewer skills, which, of course, i couldnt expect any less from you. Again, please do post more often. Thank you!

How fascinating, I think his Liszt Tarantella is among the best that I have heard on the Web - in the sense he nails it exactly! I have listened to many... His one is so vibrant and well articulated. Isn't this a matter of taste?
