I saw every manned launch. From the first suborbital Mercury flight to Apollo 17 and every shuttle launch. I lost count of how many that was.

Another cancelled launch, it won't ever happen, they'll make more excuses for delays until it's eventually scrapped for some new mission 10 years away.

This is the way NASA operates. They waste billions of our tax dollars on testing their equipment.

If I read it right, coverage of the next launch attempt is slated for 02 Sep 2022, so, yeah, Friday. Let's hope the launch can proceed then, and safely.

What a joke. After $30 BILLION U.S. Tax dollars spent, this Rocket still has problems? For those in Rio Linda, $30 BILLION is almost 30,000 Million. Where did this money go?

It failed the first test and they decided, to not test a second time! How stupid can you be? This is how this ship has been run from the beginning, and why we have a junk old time rocket on the launch pad. Most if not all of it is from old tech left over from earlier space exploration. Model A products in a Tesla era, How very sad.

Not before the design of the launch stack was proven! Plenty of unmanned Apollo missions preceded Apollo 7, and we lost lives during Apollo 1 (while it was still on the pad) out of haste and injudicious decisions in design. Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee gave their lives, not in the cause of science, but because pressure to perform exceeded available common sense. No one wants that, which is why we do unmanned launches on new designs first to prove out the capabilities and identify the shortcomings of the hardware.
