Thanks for the explanation. Just ordered my Desert color last night. I have the Warrior X and Warrior mini so I will compare them all.

I have the pro max with the warm white transmitter. This is my main EDC, it's the light I use daily and gets the most use out of all my lights. The vast majority of my flashlight usage is indoors, the warm white with lots of spill is perfect for what I need. However, I don't think it's a great light for self defence because it doesn't have a tail switch, the warm light isn't as harsh on the eyes and the candela is low. So I always have a backup with me. Plus if you're outdoors it's nice to have a light with some throw. For me that depends on whether I have a jacket with me, if I do, I will have the warrior 3 x, if I don't I have the warrior mini 3. But I always have the pro max.

I like both. Different lights. I like the proximity sensor on both and have had no problems. So I prefer the first version of the Baton 3 Pro, possibly they will work that back into the line once they implement a "semi-permanent" way to turn it off like they now have for the Max. I have the NW Pro and WW Max, now have the NW Max on the way. Disappointed that they did not include a NW option for the Magnesium model. Don't know how they could increase the candela of the Max and still give that wonderful flood...and I guess they didn't either. LOL. Physics I guess. Around the home the Baton 3 Pro Max is probably going to get the most use. The WW version is perfect for the nightstand.

Do you recommend this to be carried in your back pack when traveling by plane?

It's not considered a tactical class flashlight so as long as it's a carry on it shouldn't be an issue.

Olights are actually decent flashlights but i dont like their prices...

I'd say if they brought their prices down 20% they'd still make a decent profit and sales would possibly double over night.

I’m glad I saw this I was disappointed I just bought the baton 3 pro. Now I’m glad I still got the better choice. Twice the runtime and much smaller. I’m using it for EDC and that’s too big for that for my taste. I’d just use a TK20R 2.0 at that point and have a much better light to carry with me. Thanks for the review

My first reaction: WHY Olight's answer: YOU WILL BUY IT I have so many lights but I have Baton 3, Baton 3 Pro already. Sure this is better but not necessary. I have Warrior mini 2 for this, or Seeker 2, Seeker. I'm getting a green one yeah lol

Id love to buy it but this year i already bought 3 Olight! So im not sure yet.this year: 2x red Baton 3, one with the case, 4 spare batteries and an i5t eos StarDust. Also own a Seeker2Pro,i love that as a bicycle flashlight! Great review, i still consider to buy the warm version!

Hi. How is the spot compared with the Seeker2Pro? Its wider or its narrower and throw more? I own many flashlights and id want a warm color one. Most are cool or neutral at best.

The seeker 2 pro is unsurpassed by the pro max. If I were to choose between the 2 I would pick the seeker 2 pro every time. The floor is about the same but the throw is better in the seeker 2 pro. I happened to be able to grab a warm white version of the pro max when it was available for a limited time. It's great but it's not really on par with the seeker line. It's basically a beefed up baton that's not a seeker but fairly close to one but not one 🤷‍♂️ personal if you're on a budget I'd grab a baton pro max but if you have the money to throw at a seeker I would wait until the seeker 4 line comes out. Which should be soon I believe.
