It is def different than what we think of as Italian which is really Italian-American (heavily sicilian influenced) but ingredient quality alone makes it better than Olive Garden. Before you even get to the ridiculous statement that the food tastes like nothing. It’s not Cantonese food

Next time you go you should try the chicken gnocchi soup with extra parmesan and crushed red pepper on top, then dip the breadstick. Literally the best bite in olive garden! 😩😩

I used to work there you gotta stop the bread in the meat sauce and or the Alfredo sauce also for soup I would recommend mixing chicken and zuppa

The toasted ravioli is actually good. Majority of their appetizers are. The bread isn't even made in house it's just warmed up for 5 minutes. And the soups and all the pastas and sauces are made days before hand, frozen and reheated later in the week. And anyone who goes for the bread and salad is weird cause it's legit unwashed bagged salad mix.

People don’t go to Taco Bell for authentic Mexican, the same way they don’t go to OG for authentic Italian food. Both are still phenomenal in my opinion
