By far one of the greatest social dances I have seen out there filmed. It’s hard to find professional dancers that can do a fantastic social dance. I love that she understands not only how to intrinsically improvise but that she understands how to organically include arm styling that doesn’t intrude on the flow of the social dance. They are so in sync. This social dance is everything a social dance should be and laid on top of the dynamic big band palladium swing is just the icing on the cake. I have watched him in many social dances and he is always fully committed to his partner and his truthful interpretation of the music. There is no doubt his musical background plays a role but it’s more than that he has a real respect and honor for the dance and the music. I greatly admire him for that. When the ego is put aside for the art it really shows❤️

I have been watching this video every so often for the past 3 years or so. I still can't get over it--I love the aesthetics, I love the music, I love the dancers and their moves and movements, and I love their chemistry. Anita looks like she is just genuinely loving this dance, and it really makes her glow.

From my SALSA Friend Danielita Smooth & lovely. Looks so effortless. It reminds me of when my teacher, Diego Sanchez, had the girls in the class do 4 spins. We thought, "no way!" Then he said, if you try to do 4, then three will be no problem. And we learned. And we worked up to 4 spins in one direction, stop then 4 spins in the other direction, like he says the school in New York teaches as a drill. I remember when I reached 8, then the first time I did 12 with another lovely teacher named Diego in Antigua, Guatemala in 2011. I may never look like a professional dancer, I may never look as perfect as those girls, but the joy is in the trying, improving, learning and experience! Compliments give my feet wings when they're tired from practice. Thank you to all the boys who dance with me, who take the time to learn how to lead, put their pride aside and make the effort. We ladies salute you! Thank you, my beloved salsa!
