From what I understand, this young man has fought alcoholism, drug addition, poverty, etc. He supposedly fell on his knees & asked God to help him overcome which he has done so far. His songs remind me of the protest songs that were so popular back in the 60's. He's tired like all of us are tired. He's expressing the exhaustion that we all feel from "this new world". We're the only ones that can stop it.

Thst was little over a month ago, he's sober and you see what his music is doing. We don't know how far back he wrote this song, but now recording it for us to hear. He's not pushing religion on anybody. He's just singing about HIS EXPERIENCES from HIS view. He's free to do that. Freedom of Religion is one of our rights. Some folks won't like it and that's fine. I had to live away from my wife and dogs for five years for my job. I use to cry and scream into my pillow 'I wanna go home!' I have since lost my 3 dogs and the guilt i carry for knowing i cant get those five years back is overwhelming. This song hit me hard.

This is old school blues. Raw, pained, traumatic. The best kind of music, real and honest. Because it doesn't matter what you usually listen to, this is felt by all. **I love blues and old 30s-40s jazz! I do not listen to country. I have a few songs I enjoy but but the genre. This man isn't singing country. He's sharing and talking from his heart and his soul. It just happens to have musical accompaniment.

I absolutely love how he's dead centre on politics and is for the people and not division. He spreads a very powerful and relatable message as to how we all see modern day life. Also saw where some people on the left tried to attack him and say that he was not really poor because he had some kind of farmland. And then he came right back and said that he had some acreage that he bought in 2019 for $90,000. He's got a camper on that land with a tarp over the top of it and still owe 60,000.. this dude to be living in a mansion today. He said no. Thank you.
