I ordered the Oliver Cabell in size 12 and the laces are way too short. I went back and forth with their useless helpdesk who kept repeating the same line... that I don't need to lace them all the way to the top. I wish! That's not even my issue. Even if I lace them only to the second eyelet, I still don't have enough lace to properly tie them and that creates a ton of tension on the lace and shoe whenever I try to lace them. These laces will not last a month if I wear them with these tiny laces. Helpdesk didn't understand nor cared to understand. What a waste of $250. Strong user, what he says is not as important as what he's showing by cutting it in half. You can see for yourself the material and construction quality and make your own decision whether it's worth the price or not. *It's not*

@@PT111111 That's a different point entirely. Rose Anvil is right in that CPs are extremely overpriced for what they charge for. That doesn't necessarily mean the materials CP uses are "wrong" or "bad". Like Nick said, virtually every leather sneaker maker uses chrome tanned leather. All of these CP competitors price their shoes at around $150-$250, and for that price chrome tanned leather is absolutely fine.
