Florida Panthers Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Kyle Okposo speak on their team’s off day in Edmonton on Friday, June 14, 2024.
The Panthers won Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final with a 4-3 win over the host Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.
Florida is now a win away from the Stanley Cup and holds a 3-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Game 4 of the Cup Final is Saturday night at 8 p.m. (ABC) in Edmonton.

On Thursday night, the Panthers took a 1-0 lead on a goal from Sam Reinhart.
Tied at 1 in the second, Florida scored three unanswered goals with Vladimir Tarasenko, Sam Bennett and Sasha Barkov all scoring.
Edmonton scored twice in the third, but Florida held on as Sergei Bobrovsky ended with 32 saves as he edges closer to the Conn Smythe Trophy as postseason MVP.

Hat trick..Funny...he's lucky that Zito and Maurice gave him the opportunity to put on the Florida sweater. Now he gets to see how a real organization operates and how a Captain Barkov leads by example and how every person on the team is not bigger than the next man. It's called a team of Champions, not an over paid selfish bunch of players like Toronto for example. Sources tell me he was part of the problem in Buffalo. GO Panthers!

Definitely wasn’t part of the problem… ownership meddling and front office mismanagement and coaching carousels. Tell me why do Eichel and Carrier have a cup. Also Monty Reino and Okie have a chance to win their first after leaving Buffalo. Players aren’t the problem

@@kylejohnson5493 Players are not the problem, Oh really, Then you don't know the real reasons why Eichel, Reinhart, OReilly, Ristolainen, left the disfunctional organization and it wasn't just because of the ownership, coaching and management failures. Your job as a GM and coach is to make sure you have the right group of men in the locker room and on the ice. Kyle even admitted that he knew their was a problem with the team in training camp. Those Buffalo players that missed the playoffs to Florida by one point thought that they have achieved major success or something, they had the wrong mindset from the start, they didn't humble themselves nor put the work in before the season even started. And Kyle was the captain and he allowed that to take place. So instead of being part of the solution like a real captain would, he jumped ship to a team that already had championship and leadership pedigree, he took the easy way out. Just like OReilly and Eichel did. At least Reinhart finished his contract with Buffalo and called Adams and apologized for not getting the team where they needed to be.
