To anyone struggling right now, there is hope on the other side of despair. This is from my talk with Joe Rogan a little while back.

My life fell apart and I turned to studying the Word. I'd never known anyone growing up in a Baptist church who actually sat down and read the whole Bible and studied to understand it. It was merely an idol to them. Church was a social gathering spot. Looking Christian was far more important than knowing Jesus. How do you know Jesus? Through the Word. It is a detailed glimpse into the mind of God.

You'd probably love hanging out with Jehovah's Witnesses, they know the Bible in and out! I studied with them years ago and was gonna become one but fell out of it.. i learned so much, it was fun
@acpfeiffer60572 ай бұрын
The comment about Baptist churches is so sad 😢 There are Baptist churches that are better than this! But what's more important than denomination is preaching the same gospel as Jesus & his apostles, and seeking to understand the whole Bible as you say. I hope you've found a church that is helping you mature in your faith.

Amen to that man. I started heavy drugs and alcohol when I was 14yrs old and didn't stop til I was 33yrs old. Only by the grace of God I didn't end up dead or in prison. I have 5 preacher's in my family here in east Tennessee so I grew up in church and knew wrong from right. So the whole time I was using I would justify it saying I was only hurting myself and no one else. Obviously I was lying to myself. So when I got clean and sober, I turned back to God and I've been clean and sober for 11yrs now. I even own a home on the lake with 5acres, never in a million years would I ever thought I was capable of that lol. I'm a poor boy but I got a roof over my head, food, I don't owe anything, and the best part is I got my family back. Good to see you finally got a well deserved break man. Keep up the awesome work 💪🎸🤘

Amazing testimony and it’s also amazing to see Joe’s own growth as a man who believes in , if not God then it’s a higher power. Idk how many people know this but it wasn’t that long ago when Joe didn’t believe in anything and openly mocked the idea of other people believing and now to see where he’s at now really shows the journey he’s made and do not think for 1 second that God is finished with him because he’s not finished with any of us.

Going through a lot with my job, and have that same feeling of hopeless, dealing with corruption and dishonesty all over the place. I haven’t centered my attention on God for a long time, and it has proven to fail me, despite Him never failing me. I’ve become so selfish, over the last year or so, and I just truly hate what I’ve become. But thank you for witnessing to Joe, on top of the encouragement you’ve given me. Love you, brother. God bless you, and your wonderful talents.

Good job brother! You encourage me so any I can send back your way I will! I sang gospel music for years & was well known in my area. I went through a terrible divorce that was unfortunately broadcast on social media by the Ex. The Devil definitely tried to destroy me but here I stand now on the only thing we have , the Word! Everyone told me to hold my tongue which I did but it was the hardest thing I’d ever done, The lord is putting the temple back together brick by brick so to speak. All the Christian people who knew us are starting to say they’re finding her out now and that I did the right thing. On a more positive note I’ve been with my soulmate for 3 years now ! 🙌🙌 Oh & I heard about a Supreme Court decision today, 🤯 I guess at this point all we can do is 🙏 ! God speed and be safe out there my friend 👍👍👍

I was an agnostic/atheist most of my life. I had been to church and read some of the Bible. I wanted it to be real but I was never convinced. I never felt the touch of God, and it was hard to reconcile so much suffering in the world if there is supposed to be a just and loving god. In the last few years, after my father’s death and my divorce, when I was so low, I began to catch a glimpse of something that made me think twice. A church found me, and I began to study the word, and there’s a peace in my life that I never had before. Praise God. Christ is king.
