Olivia Atkocaitis was held against her will in a dungeon by her adoptive parents in their 4,300 sq ft home in New Boston, NH after being adopted out of China at just 14 months old with the abuse starting at 3 yrs old when they tied her to a metal pole with a dog leash.

My god, I can't believe she actually got away multiple times and got thrown right back into it. This is so horrible, I'm so glad she's finally free!

A lot of people I know, who were adopted, primarily by white people, say that they've suffered extreme emotional and physical abuse. I think the reason why Olivia's allegations were disregarded, is because with her being Asian, other whites in positions of power or authority see their counterparts as they can do no wrong.. I dated an African woman who was raised by her adoptive white parents, and some of the trauma she told me she had endured, were bizarre and mind boggling

I am from Eastern Europe, so white, but grew up in an orphanage that adopted out children to Americans. Verbal, religious and xenophobic abuse was common, like 1 in 3 kids common. Many of my friends cut contact with their adoptive parents after they turned 18. Some of the kids were put into wilderness programs. I visited the US once to stay with a family for 6wks in the summer and they were crazy religious, southern baptist, so sexist and racist on the low-key, I remember being weirded out that their church had no black people despite the city having a normal amount. This story doesn't surprise me at all. I'm glad I didn't stay/agree to be adopted out. Even at 14 I thought this was sketchy and a bit too much like human trafficking

Hope she get psychological help to recover from the trauma. Perhaps PTSD treatment like Psilocybin under supervision at a nearby university hospital might be useful.

Wow, gosh I have little hope for humanity... What is their address, we need to protest and send a ridiculous amount of mail to them, sign them up for everything!

this is callous and evil...there's no national coverage of this.this is worst than the boy in the box....i hope she pursues it and gets a good attorney who advocates for her.

No excuse for this, very sickening and situations like this are what make it hard for good parents to adopt and welcome their home to kids who deserve and need it.

The behavior of the adoptive parents is so heinous that even their own children can't stand what their parents do. There is an old Chinese saying: “Many things are self-inflicted. When you suffer in hell after death, who can you blame? It is not to say that no one can see the causes and consequences. The late retribution is on the descendants, and the early retribution is on oneself”. Olivia Atkocaitis has tried hard to sue, but she has not got perfect justice. Thomas and Denise, two vicious couples, did bad things, and they were not severely punished. What goes around comes around. The two couples did evil things, which led to a bad relationship between their biological children. The biological children would rather pity Olivia Atkocaitis than support the vicious parents and testify for Olivia Atkocaitis. This is The late retribution is on the descendants. The two couples did evil things and wanted to hide them, but in the end they were found out, and they will be punished by the law. This is the early retribution is on oneself. God is helping Olivia Atkocaitis. I believe that one day, Olivia Atkocaitis will get a real just result, and the two couples will be severely punished.
