Bravo! Bravissimo! VIVA La De Haviland! Dear sir, Thank you for this historical excerpt from the incredible Olivia a true Hollywood legend here looking splendid and radiant and happy because of you. Clearly respect and recognition of such a great figure and your gentlemanly manner allowed this great artist to relive her triumphs with total ease and Joy. You showed class and love and she knew that. I absolutely loved your interview and I feel fortunate to have experienced the Olivia de Haviland. BRAVISSIMO!

Amazing to see Olivia being so candid and completely at ease. And she really hasn't altered much in the 24 years since this - that same same indomitable energy remains completely unchanged.

This interview is delightful! Olivia was 71 at the time, but her memories of her youth and early acting experiences were still sharp and clear. She was both graceful in her replies, and clever in her wit! Bravo to her, on this day when she departed this earth at the age of 104.

Don't ever question the memory of Olivia de Havilland. She had an amazing memory for factual details.

You know what? I enjoyed the effort the Interviewer went through to arrange to speak with this grand lady. He researched her background, read her biography, grouped the video taping/sound crew, found a location convenient for Olivia and worked in the time slot to fit with the luncheon as the honored guest. What a challenge he faced and came through with aplomb. How do I know so much about the interviewer? I am the interviewer., Jack Dunstan, I think I did a great job. I doubt if the other negative commentators could have risen to the occasion.

Hi! I enjoyed watching this conversation and we could clearly see you put a lot of effort into your research to talk to this wonderful lady and put her at ease. We can see how much you like her and that is always a really wonderful thing! However, please don't dismiss the criticism you received and try to understand why people are frustrated with your performance as an interviewer. Had you been her friend and had this been an informal chat, this would have been a great conversation to watch. But as an interviewer, you do need to listen more and avoid interrupting your guests, as well as refrain from finishing their sentences (to show you did your homework, to look like you're a real fan, it doesn't matter... your guests will know all that if you chat with them previously before you go on air). Also, before you dismiss your critics, just remember that people don't need to be writers or editors to be able to recognize a good book when they read it, they don't need to be directors or producers to understand if the movie is good, they don't need to be actors to know if someone is a good actor and they don't need to be interviewers to evaluate the interviewer's performance and know when something is off and irritating. So please don't take this the wrong way and try to learn something from what's being said. Again, thank you for your hard work and for giving us the opportunity to watch Olivia speak of her experiences by uploading this here. We really are grateful!

Eric You were wonderful and I think it is apparent that she truly enjoyed the interview and warmed up to you. Thank you so much I just found this interview. I was deeply saddened by his passing two weeks ago. I grew up in Carmel and of course met her sister and will see her around the village in her greenish Jaguar. But it was Olivia and I wanted to meet and never was able to. Thank you again wonderful interview

Her voice is instantly recognizable, the perfect storytelling voice, like a warm embrace before going off to sleep. Her beauty---those eyes and that mysterious smile....icon of a brilliant, bygone era.

Saratoga, lived there many years, overlooking Villa Montalvo, off of Wildcat Ridge which is off of Bohlman Rd... beautiful back in the day. How wonderful to know her elementary school on Oak St is still there...

I've read the below comments and yes: he is, as Jackie Gleason (no favorite of mine, but still..) a blaaabbermouth. The guy is so intrusive and she is so wonderfully articulate and humorous.
