So they just decided to end up as best friends, supportive in good and bad times, and marry people who remind them of each other. That is also why they both loved her song I Honestly Love You.

I was disheartened to hear about the demise of Olivia Newton John. She was a magnificent singer and a talented performer. I'm sure her daughter, Chloe, is struggling right now with the loss of her mother. Did you ever see the movie Grease? If so, what was your favorite scene from that movie?

Her song I Honestly Love You, a favorite song of hers and JT's, tells a lot about their secret love. That's because they loved each other but couldn't be married. Aside from the timing wasn't always right (it's in her book), they have different religious beliefs. So they just decided to end up as best friends, supportive in good and bad times, and marry people who remind them of each other.

She was always more confident back then especially with John. One would think he would be but I do believe she's a few years older than him but John has always seemed a little shy with interviews. That's just my opinion though.

Dick Caught you are still so missed. You made your mark in our lives Thank you it was a joy and educational to watch and listen to you.You did a great wonderful thing to get these two on the show. John was in love and asked Actress Diana Hyland 44 and John 23. Olivia helped John while filming Grease through a tough time when Diana died in 1977 of Breast Cancer. John helped Olivia convincing her and the Director to play in Grease and it was her first film, John helped her with her new talent acting in return. Now 2021 Sept Olivia is dying of Cancer after surviving 4 cancers in her life first being breast cancer. It is expected she will be gone soon, as her organs are shutting down and she is bed ridden. She is trying to hang on to see her only child a daughter Marry in Jan 2022. Our prayers asking for God to give her strength, along with her family, and friends at this terrible time. God Bless you Olivia you are such a Fine Lady and Thank You for sharing your voice, your acting, and beautiful soul with all of us. I think God is calling you back to heaven to sing again with His Angels. you will be very missed and hope to hear you again someday. My mother is also dying of cancer and isn't expected to live much more longer then two months. May you fine people gather together and be strong till we all meet again. Thank you Olivia and My Mom P. C.

All these comments saying he's so gorgeous. I think there are many actors who are more good-looking - at least visually/physically. BUT: John's personality is pure electricity! His sense of humor, level of joy is off the charts. It is John's vitality that none of the other actors can match. Imo.

Olivia is so wonderful and intelligent, she knows very well that money and success scare men, she just hid her ambition to actually help her career, and it fully worked. Nothing has changed in today’s world, some things will never change.

Xanadu failed at the time but the music was so great it made it a cult classic. ELO featuring Olivia was a great soundtrack. I still love it. I have always owned a copy of this movie. First VHS, DVD and now digital.

I was a bit surprised to hear her openly call Xanadu her "turkey" movie. It's a very campy movie but fun and innocent. The soundtrack, on the other hand, is simply excellent!

Xanadu featured one of her greatest hits, Magic. I still remember hearing that song for the first time in 1980 and being completely taken by it. That floating, dreamy dominant 7th, flat 5 chord stopped me in my tracks. It’s so rarely heard in popular music. ONJ’s dreamy voice soaring over those magic chords gave me goosebumps. The movie was actually pretty good. I mean, Olivia, Gene Kelly, ELO. Good stuff. A little campy, but great fun. I also have that film on every format ever released.

Olivia was just that stunning. Also women back then did not try to shoot garbage into their faces to try to look forever young. I really wish women knew how horrible they look after all of the plastic surgery and injections. When you are that beautiful. You age beautifully. Just like Olivia did.
