I like these interviews. No bullshit, talking the blunt truth no matter how dark. These guys (SAS, SBS, Military) are the real HARDMEN of the human race. It makes the gangsters in Cities who carry knives, rob people, and sell drugs seem absolutely pathetic. The amount of balls and motivation it must take to do the job they do is phenomenal. We can learn a great deal from their wisdom, life lessons, and mindsets. Respect. Great video guys!

I went for Navy selection and was recommended/asked to join the Royal Marines, single mum wouldn't let me due to the IRA. Joined the Navy, became a submariner, ships diver and completed freefall para training. Loved my time but got bored, worked with SBS and SAS and should have pushed for more. I respect all special forces operatives. Go for it, follow your dreams and be the best you can be.

We can all learn a lot from this guy. BUT more importantly all the other interviewers can learn a lot about how to interview from the mulligan bros. no interruption, no interjection of their own life story (kemp), just direct questions and then allow time to answer. Superb, only half way through and you’ve gained a subscriber.

Changing the mantra of the thoughts and therefore mind and replacing those patterns and sounds with ones that work for him to get the job done, surviving passing training and dealing with trauma. You can see his awareness come through as he speaks and visualises . Nice interview

His story about the foot injury remined me of the Royal Navy field gun team member who lost a finger in an accident with a 200lb field gun wheel and just shrugged and carried on. One of his team mates found it and stuck it in his pocket as a souvenir.

I am so happy to hear this from someone from The Regiment. It took me many years to realise the power of mindfulness and tracing my past actions. The military on a whole should be doing mindfulness. As a young kid, I was already mentally in the army (The Royal Green Jackets) before I actually did basic training. I did it so often that by the time I got to the battalion, it felt totally natural.
