Wow truly inspiring father and son talks. Love that part of the video. My son is the same way. I get it no one likes to lose. Being the parent of a keeper is a completely different experience. I went through the ups and downs with the emotions of an 8 yr old. Now that my son is 14, it makes me proud how well he's developed emotionally. Just remember Ollie, to have a short memory on goals that get by and stay positive. Good luck mate.

I know How He feels, I was a goal keeper from the age of 6 to 12 and I remeber even just letting one goal in feels so annoying! You rethink the moment in your head so many times to find ways you could have saved it, but it’s important to remeber that now you know how to do it right and the next time you can save it! Ollie your brilliant and I know your going wonderful places, just keep training!

Worst I’ve ever lost is 5-3, we were u12 start of the season going against and u14 squad, did better than we expected but still could’ve done better, in goals it was tough since they had a much more powerful shot than I expected, since I’m used to the u12 power, tough but we pushed through

unlucky mate, i understand how it feels, i lose games and get upset at my defenders, its never your fault unless its an own goal, conceding a goal at your backpost is natural so keep your head up dont let yourself down.

Well he didn't give up anything frivolous. And the one would have probably beat even the best goalies at his level. Still a great performance. It is hard for any of us to learn that one can do everything right, and still not win. But lets hope he can be proud of his performance non-the-less.
