I say Brendan many times in Las Vegas, he was such a star and just a lovely person. He played a few times in Des Regan's Pub in L.A. and treated me, just the humble bartender, as if I was his best mate.

There's been no one like Brendan Boyer and the Big Eight. Great memories. May he rest in peace.
