Thanks Tommy and Tanner for featuring a thrower. We are the unsung strength athletes among strength athletes. The track community forgets about us as they show every false start in the sprints, while they just show the winning throw on the back field in the highlights. Things are better now with live streaming the throws. The first 11 World Strongest Men from 1977 to 1987 were all throwers at one time. Throwers train like an Olympic Lifter, power lifter, sprinter, plus all the throws and technique that we work on. There are plenty more throwers out there to interview, World record in the shot and is considered the best ever, Ryan Crouser, Jo Kovacs, Valerie Allman, and many others. Alekna Junior just set the world record in the discus two weeks ago. His dad was a two time Olympic Champion. Again, thanks for featuring a thrower
