In this video I race the 3000m steeplechase at LA Track Fest. This is a tune-up race to prepare for the Olympic Trials. Being in a large and highly competitive field like this is such valuable practice for different race situations that I will face later on this season. Thanks so much for watching!

You totally rocked it, Allie. From trackside, I could tell you were going to run an amazing time. First, you didn't have the brutal wind like you had at Palo Alto; second, your hurdle form was stellar. You weren't jumping over the hurdles like at Stanford. You were hurdling them like a star, and you negative split the race. Your moves were well planned. Let's not forget the signature Allie O finishing kick. Very well done. 👍

I was just reflecting today that I believed wholeheartedly for YEARS that my ED was what made me fast, but recently I feel so much stronger and like my potential is limitless. I now believe that my ED was actually holding me back. It's an amazing realization!
