Chinese Taipei's Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin won the badminton men's doubles Olympic gold medal by beating Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen from China 21-18 21-12 at the Tokyo Games.

I'm such a big fan of Taiwan team . Tai Tzu Ying is the main reason why followed Taiwan team. Early this year I officially became Lee/Wang fan when they won the Triple Event in Bangkok. Now, they went to Tokyo to claim their biggest achievement- Olympic Gold Medal. What a brilliant tournament it has been for Lee and Wang. They beat Kevin Gideon during their 1st round matches; it was the most important match, had they lost to them, they would have already been eliminated. Considering the amount of pressure they were in, add the fact that Kevin and Gideon are the World number 1 , its amazing to think that they were able to beat them during that match. In the Quarter finals, they managed to beat yet another big pair; Watanabe Endo.. and they kept their momentum in the semis by beating the well-experienced Ahsan Hendra in just some 30 minute game. In this final, they had a very slow start. It was evident that they were nervous especially in the 1st half of 1st set. But at 14-14 when they finally back leveled, They got into their rhythm and eventually win the 1st set. During the 2nd set, they played extremely well and confident. I think this has been the most exciting Olympics in Men's Doubles of modern badminton. I mean, unlike in the previous generations when it was only dominated by 1 or 2 countries Now, we can see different flags being raised in the podium. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

They won 3 set game And the score was 25-27 That Indian pair couldn't even win a single set against the top pairs Lee and Wang proved that they are real winners by beating all the top 5 pairs. Wang Chilin and Lee Yang really show their best perform on olympic games, they trully deserved it. Thet beated Li/Liu (former world champ), Ahsan/Hendra (world champion), Yuta Endo, and Gideon/Kevin (world number 1). Once again, Congrats Chilin/Yang ❤️

Lee Wang lost to the Indian pair with 3 games, and 28-26 score at the third set It is clear that the Indian pair only got lucky . Lee and Wang beat all their big opponents with big gaps. 第二局手根本超燙，各種神球都在第二局出現真的很扯XD 中國雙塔好幾次想破壞節奏，但發現根本無法一直轉換策略，不是破解不了就是失誤，麟洋防守滴水不漏，即便剛開始中國雙塔想用殺球但根本殺不死還會被變線處理，打到慌掉很正常吧。 這金牌含金量真的高，擊敗世界1.2.4.5。

33:08 這球太經典了比最後一球"IN"還來的經典,王齊麟斷網了他打這球之前就規劃好下一球打高吊讓兄弟先擋一波攻勢揮出去不管如何第一時間就是衝去換拍,不換拍的話就算有來有往很大機會也是失分坐收但他很幸運的打在線上,不放棄任何機會啊

拍子斷的時候不能趁比到一個段落的時候換拍嗎?比如這球落地了在準備階段的時候讓選手換拍子?

球 (rally) 還在進行中，沒落地之前，選手可以任意出場換拍。

34:40 麟洋已經贏得第一局，第二局也到 17 : 6 了。大幅領先11分，而且再拿4分就贏得比賽。李洋還是這麼奮不顧身，不放棄每一球，撲救每一球，雖然這一球並沒有救成，但是精神很令人敬佩。

Please stop calling Taiwan by the name Chinese Taipei. They want to be called Taiwanese and their country Taiwan. Olympics commity forced them to compete under that name, or no competing at all.

Breathtaking match. Both sides displayed superb skills and strategic plays but as in all matches, one side has to edge out the other in the end. Congrats to Chinese Taipei team on holding their grounds by staying cool and collected in spite of the tremendous pressure in securing the victory…👏👏👏

It was a terrible match, imo. The Chinese pair gave up; I think they'll regret that decision later on in life. But not the fault of Chinese Taipei -- congrats to them!

I sincerely thank you for your blessings from far away in the Philippines, but Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin are not from Chinese Taipei, but from "Taiwan". Finally, I wish you peace and happiness.
