Relive the Boxing Men's Middle 69-75kg Final at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Oleksandr Khyzhniak of Team Ukraine competed in the men's middleweight (69-75kg) category, where he showcased his boxing skills. After securing victories against Yuito Moriwaki, Euri Cedeño, and Eumir Marcial, Khyzhniak advanced to the final.
The journey of Hebert Wilian Carvalho da Conceição Sousa at the Tokyo Olympics was equally impressive. Conceição's path to victory included notable victories over Tuoheta Erbieke, Äbilchan Amanqul, Gleb Bakschi, and, finally, Oleksandr Khyzhniak.
In a thrilling final showdown, Conceição ultimately defeated Khyzhniak by knockout, solidifying his status as Olympic champion. It was Conceição's first ever Olympic gold medal!

it is so emotional to rewatch this. no one was expecting him to win after the first two rounds, and then he suddenly knocked out the opponent in the third round. he trusted that he could win throughout the whole fight while many Brazilians were already content with the silver medal (me included). a legend.

No they must remove it. Boxing causes mental illnesses it should be replaced with bjj. I boxing for 3 to 4 years and now i have OCD and bipolar disorder. Boxing should only be fornself defence not a sport

The referee should have noted that the player in the red corner repeatedly poked him in the back of the head during the clinch. This was to protect the player in the blue corner who received a punch to the back of the head. This should be a priority rather than telling both players to listen carefully to break instructions.

Just so you know, the most dangerous boxers are in this weight class, they can KO anyone regardless of weight and build. Their agility/speed, stamina and strength are at the peak of the male gender.

He got up and tried to go straight to fight while still visibly dizzy. He didn't even pay attention to what happened. If he took a hit in that condition it could be very dangerous, so the early stoppage was correct.

Can anyone tell me why in amateur boxing it looks like the gloves are pillows with absolutely no power? It’s almost like women’s boxing where the shots are just thrown in abundance because there’s no fear of anything being returned because it just rolls off the face.

It's cause amateur boxing uses points based on how many times you hit them. The round score doesn't matter. Red can win the first two rounds and still lose the fight if blue lands 100 punches in the 3rd round. So, they just do a bunch of fast punches and hope to land as much as possible.
