@@NezumiM Allocate a time for this. 20 mins will do. It can be early in the morning before the world wakes up or after midnight. Close yr eyes, breath in and out deeply in a relaxed way. Take the air fully into yr stomach before exhaling slowly. Do about 10 cycles. Speak to Kali Maa from yr heart. Tell her you are totally not familiar with of any of this chanting stuff. Tell her to come as yr guru and guide you. Then focus on this mantra and chant it slowly. Try to shut yr senses away from everything else and just focus on this mantra. It might be difficult initially but in time you will reach a state where only you and this mantra will exist. After the chanting tell Kali Maa to forgive u, shud you have done anything wrong. Once u accept her as yr mother than you dont have to worry about mistakes anymore. She will slowly start to reveal the secret of existance to you. All negative qualities like ego, anger, hatred, arrogance will slowly start to disappear. Joy and love will come. You will become indifferent to sadness, negative thoughts will vanish. I assure you all this will happen. I wish and pray you experience the joy that i do. Jai Kali Maa.

Gulliver12, beej ( single word like "Kreem" mantras ) are basically what we call the science of sound. It is known as the mantra of Kali Maa, but by itself doesnt have any particular meaning. But what it does is it nuetralises negative vibrations within and without of our bodies. The ancient Rishis ( spiritual seers in ancient India) knew that words were basically sound energy or a vibration in the form of sound. So they formulated certain words when recited many times has the tendency to create a certain positive vibration around us by nuetralising unwanted things like misery, pain, poverty etc. This is how "kreem" healed yr headache. It is a powerful sound and it does a lot more than just nuetralising pain. Sounds like "Shreem" nuetralises negative energies and attracts prosperity, sounds like "Gam" or " Dhum" removes obstacles and helps us along a smooth path. One of the fundemental philosophy of Hinduism is God and his creation are one. God didnt create the universe and sat on his throne in heaven and became judge and jury. God became this universe. Everything we see is verily a spark of that Divinity. Disrespecting nature is disrespecting God, and chaos happens when we start doing things like that.
