Sushi-Shin: An Unforgettable Culinary Journey in Tokyo
Our visit to Sushi-Shin, located within the luxurious Mandarin Hotel in Tokyo, can only be described as a transcendent dining experience. As one of the finest sushi restaurants in the city, Sushi-Shin by Miyakawa has earned its reputation for serving the most premium quality and exquisitely prepared seafood, offering a truly authentic taste of Hokkaido.
From the moment we stepped into the serene, minimalist dining room, we could feel the palpable energy of culinary mastery. The Omakase (chef's choice) menu we indulged in was a remarkable 13-course exploration, each dish meticulously crafted to highlight the natural flavours and textures of the seafood.
The procession of courses began with the most delicate and delectable sashimi, sourced from the pristine waters of Hokkaido. The thinly sliced tuna, salmon, and other seasonal offerings simply melted on our tongues, each bite a symphony of freshness and umami.
As the meal progressed, we were treated to a masterful display of traditional sushi preparation. The rice, perfectly seasoned and moulded, provided the perfect canvas for the gleaming slices of fish that were placed atop with reverence.
