Information on the UAE/Oman Border Crossing: We used the Khatm Al Shikla Border Crossing Post, which is quick and convenient for traveling to Muscat. On our trip, we took the scenic coastal route via Sohar and returned via the faster highway route. Feel free to ask any questions about driving routes in the comments!
