Narvaez had never been down in more than 150 professional and amateur fights, including more than 25 world fights, until he fought Inoue. In his professional career, he had lost only once before fighting Inoue. That one time was Donaire, who is considered to be in his prime. Donaire had also fought Narvaez, and although he won, he could not put him down. Narvaez went down for the first time against Inoue. Narvaez got back up but was eventually taken down four times and defeated by Inoue. Narvaez didn't think about losing against a nameless young man, so he brought his family to Japan not for a fight but as a vacation. Narvaez's camp thought it was impossible for Narvaez to go down four times, so they checked Inoue's gloves but found no problem. Narvaez said at that time, "This is a new champion who surprised me. A great future awaits me," he predicted. In other words, Donaire was in his true prime when he fought Inoue. It was impossible for Young Donaire, who might be in his prime in terms of age, to fight well against Inoue. Donaire is a legend who keeps getting stronger.

HBO needs to get Inoue on a show, the same way they did with Roman Gonzalez. It would be a great way to get Inoue exposure, and to see whether a build up to a Gonzalez vs Inoue fight is worth it.

This reminds me of the my late friend's favorite Japanese Anime series which has the lead character Makunouchi Ippo.... Although it is mostly of hilarious scenes, there are some portions that show hardwork and determination of a boxer..... Although it is still a long journey for him, these made Naoya Inoue successful....

Creo que en esta categoría Naoya pega más duro que en la división minimosca. Este japonés se convertirá en el nuevo ídolo mundial. Y si chocolatito sube para enfrentarlo, acabará en la lona, para mi gustó el nipón barrerá con la categoría supermosca. Me gusta mucho su estilo y para mí ya es un grande, nadie había ganado 2 campeonatos con sólo 8 peleas profesionales.

BEST I FACED: OMAR NARVAEZ He graciously took time to speak to The Ring about the best he fought in ten key categories. BEST JAB Zolani Tete: He had a long reach that made it impossible for me to get near and he was also southpaw, just like me. BEST DEFENSE Alejandro Hernandez: “Payasito” made it complicated for me because he was very defensive. He was fast with his movements and never straight ahead to fight, so it was difficult to connect a clean punch, a hard punch or a firm punch. You know he's a legit top notch boxer. Look at how he cut off the ring so naturally. It's fucking amazing how natural he is. Seeing him box looks as natural as if he was tying his shoe, wow. When it's all said and done Errol Spence Jr and Naoya Inoue will be the two best in the sport. Awesome skills from this young man.

All About Boxing Naoya moves so swiftly, his agility and punches are insane. It doesnt look like much but it packs a whole lotta power. He is very heavy handed for his weight.

@20:00 the reason why the coach from Narvaez side was with Inoue and Inoue grinning is that the coach asked to take off Inoue's gloves doubting he is hiding some metal or something in them. Inoue's punches were that hard.

Me parece que Narvaez quedó sentido por los golpes que lo llevaron a la primer caída, se notaba que sentía los golpes de Inoue. Creo que en la segunda caída Narvaez se tira a propósito en un intento de hacer tiempo para recuperarse del daño, fijate que al reanudarse el combate Narvaez empieza a retroceder, demostrando que estaba dolido. La táctica de hacer tiempo le funcionó pero muy brevemente... Luego en la primer caída del 2do round las piernas de Narvaez ya se notan tambaleantes, finalmente la 2da caída del 2do round fue por daño retardado de los repetidos golpes al cuerpo recibidos. En mi opinión fue una victoria legítima de Inoue

Lo toca en la cien el golpe, y le hace perder el equilibrio completamente, son complicados los toque en esa zona de la cabeza, aunque no parezcan fuertes

Dont be fooled by his numbers, Narváez has a very liar record, his numbers seem very impressive but when you analyze them you will see that almost all his fights were at home against mediocre opponents, but seriously mediocre opponents, the 3 times he left Argentina to fighting for a real title he lost without even throwing a punch (Donaire-Inoue-Zolani Tete) to the point that here in Argentina many believe that he only went to look for the money, really a shame

Si es como decis vos, quiero ver a Inoue salir campeon a los 40 años tambien. Donaire ya habia perdio a los 30 años y a la edad de Narvaez (39 años) ya tenia 6 peleas perdidas. Aprende de boxeo fantasma. Los que nombraste Foreman o Hopkins son unicos, ni los talones le pisan Maravilla, Maydana o Matiysse.

Cuando estas creído... la realidad te humilla. Omar, Omarcito te agrandaste en dos oportunidades, la primera contra Nonito Donaire y la segunda contra Naoya Inoue, las dos terminaron en paliza. Pero bueno, al igual que muchos boxeadores, seguramente seguirás convencido que fuiste un fenómeno.

Perdió contra donaire que ya está en el salón de la fama y contra naoya que está rankeado entre los diez mejores libra por libra.... Por que no sería un fenómeno? Cayó sólo ante los grandes

@@boxeoamateur7615 Cayó sólo ante los grandes, pero le ganó solamente a desconocidos, casi siempre en peleas en clubes de barrio. Tiene un récord mentiroso. No digo que haya sido un paquete, pero las veces que salió a pelear afuera quedó muy expuesto.

@@boxeoamateur7615 Es que solo se enfrentó a boxeadores de segundo nivel y como ganaba fácilmente se terminó creyendo que era bueno. No obstante le hubiera dado algo de crédito de haberse ido a Estados Unidos y trabajar con otros entrenadores y preparadores físicos. En fín, la ignorancia te achica el horizonte y contra eso.......

deja de googlear jaja, q tires datos y datos no es saber de box, tirar datos y datos es el equivalente a creer por ej. de q Maravilla Martinez es el mejor por su forma de hablar y de q iba a poner en KO a Chavez Jr, muy por el contranio casi mas el mismo Maravilla termina en KO Tirar datos no es saber de un tema ni de box, es simplemente repetir o escribor datos, para saber de box hay q saber discriminar en todo sentido de la palabra algo q no sabes hacer ya q pensas saber de box por tirar datos q hasta google te los puede decir

Es el resultado de su edad y de pelear en un peso q no es el suyo, te recuerdo q Narvaez es un "mosca natural" , tambien te recuerdo q el mejor boxeador es el q elige el lugar o pais a pelar, por eso Narvaez antes de llegar a campeon tuvo q pelear en paises como francia contradiciendo lo q decis q siempre peleo de local ....

@@armandobraun3126 Y George Foreman con 43 años fue campeor xq no pudo 20 años antes cuando perdio con Mohamed Ali ? lo q es mas foreman se retiro del box despues de perder con Mohamed Ali, pero a los 43 si pudo, porque ? Sera q despues de varios años ya no habian peleadores de la embergadura Mohamed Ali ? te das cuenta q googlear mucho no es saber de box ?
