Why? And this isn't [technically] "his first acting." He's been a singer on stage for years. Accept it or not, but as soon as one gets on stage in front of a crowd, one is acting, even if only a tiny bit. The only difference is a live crowd vs a camera and crew [which at that moment may seem like a crowd].

Omar was in LA for his music and the main Netflix used the opportunity to film promo with him at their main headquarters in LA. Promo that includes the others was filmed in Stockholm for Netflix Nordic and is posted on their KZfaq channel.

Watching YR also brought me back to being 16 all over again. The butterflies that just want to explode your stomach from just having an accidental touch of hands with the one you love. The first trembling kiss and how you are just overpowered by being in love. I'm 30+ and have two kids now, but this series made me realise that love can blossom in so much worse conditions than just juggling everyday life together. I fell in love with my parter again and won't let anything stop me from showing my attraction whenever I feel it. We just hug more now, and the butterflies are back. Love is not complicated, life is. Don't let all other issues kill something good. Thanks Young Royals ❤

Omar is what gave YR the heart, soul and emotion that drew us all in. Without him, this series would not be what it is. Edvin was a great prince but without Omar, he would have been so different. I hope we get to see more of Omar’s acting. He’s so intuitive. 💜

@@music0452 I can agree with that. Their immediate chemistry definitely impacted the success of YR. They rewrote the “Simon” character to fit Omar after their chemistry read. Then their true friendship brought the trust. This pairing was magical.

The impact Omar and edvin have had on so many people is just magical, I wouldn’t be here without them too honestly, the way Omar has saved my life just from a show is actually incredible, it was the perfect match for the show honestly. For his acting debut he is so unbelievably talented. He ranks up there with Edvin of course and Timothee and Austin butler in my eyes. His warmth and confidence on screen is so visible in the very scene. The camera really loves him! Way to go Omar!❤

I only discovered Young Royals a couple weeks ago & I binge-watched all 3 series in 2 days. I can't believe that I've never watched before now. I loved every second of this show & loved the chemistry between Simon & Wilhelm so much. 5/5!!!! 💞💞... edit: The story that Omar shared at the end about the letter that he received from an elderly fan is sso o beautiful too. This show has had a great impact on a diverse group of people, from all walks of life & I hope that many more will be able to watch it.

He is amazing. Such a super ✨️, his debut acting job is co-staring in a global phenomenon! 💜⚜️. He's been nominated and won awards for his debut role, which is 🤯🤯 In less than 4 years he has filmed 3 series of Young Royals, a major film, released so much fabulous music, launched his own beauty line, had his first solo concert, been invited to the Oscars, and done all the publicity for it all. He deserves all the love and recognition he gets. We are so proud of this wonderful, kind, hard working, creative, inspirational human being/emotional support person 🥰🥰🥰
