Normally it takes a few listens to like a song, and even more listens to get it stuck in my head. The minute Omar started singing I was in love with this song and it was stuck in my head for weeks! His voice (live) is even more amazing than I imagined and if we don't play this on our radio stations in the US it will make me question the industry. Especially since I keep hearing Beyonces country song... which pales in comparison to Omars song...

@@Beatetemporaryhermit true. But when this song does drop on music platforms, I plan to share it like crazy. Omar's music does chart though, especially on iTunes, across Europe, parts of Asia, even in the Middle East and Africa. I don't know why NA is sleeping when it comes to Omar. I've even seen music critics say there are "no good male pop singers left" but hello, Omar is RIGHT THERE! And his music ranges considerably, giving something for everyone and in three languages, one of them being English, so not sure why NA doesn't listen to him more at the levels he needs for max exposure. I hope that with Young Royals being now so internationally known and with Omar now having had his first solo concert that was heavily attended by international fans, that he will get more NA visibility and more visibility in general. He will also be at the Oscars this weekend. His career is really taking off now if things continue in this way. And Omar is not one to sit around!

His current fandom, as well as YR fandom and former FOOO fandom, are and were amazing, and I have found so many wonderful treasures from his/their last ten years on youtube because they left it there (The FOOO were quite a success during their US-tours around 2016). I myself would not know Omar existed, though, if I had not been curious about a Venezuelan introducing a Swede to arepas around Chrismas 2023 and subsequently stumbled into YR. But then, I alaways follow my own path of discovery....so do others, which means I have not been able to recruit a single additional fan since.....tried for a time, but started to feel like pearl before the swine...... With everything easily available on the internet these days, there just is an overwhelming competition for people's attention, and I do not watch/listen to anything myself just because somebody tells me so (with a few exceptions). Sometimes I get a bit mad at TEN because they cannot even be bothered to post in English, while demanding English from mere teenagers back then (= THREE languages for Omar - quite a struggle) to enable their international career. But I do not think Omar will ever leave them, as they made and have always supported him, and he is very good friends with Ola Hakansson - and from what I see, Omar is a very good friend and his deep friendships are permanent. I am happy, though, that he has partnered with JUBEL for concerts, now, and hope the Oscar event will give him a break on the American market (and that he never again gets as depressed as during the Covid bump in his career - we all love him, and in the era of social media, it should be possible to survive even another pandemic that requires bodily isolation).
