Fun fact: Taylor has experimented with over 25 music genres over 10 albums, tell me how her music sounds the same. Evermore all of the sudden goes up to a faster tempo, or the unexpected key change in Getaway Car or Come In With The Rain is in two keys. And yet again, she has experimented with over 25 genres over her 10 studio albums and it's actually interesting both musically and production-wise. Oh, and _"of course she's a bad person"_ because she tells the fans to attack her exes, if I remember correctly, she asked the fans to not throw hate at John Mayer because she's already over it (they did it anyway, but you get my point). And people who have met her (both people in the industry and fans) have said that she's really kind. I hate the haters, they're just negative people who have nothing better to do with their lives. The GRAMMYs are the perfect example of this amount of hate, and I feel like people overexaggerated her actions, this exact same thing is happening with the football games, just misinformation and overexaggerations.

@@mwahaha3750 Yes, it does include sub-genres like country-pop, pop-punk, pop-rock or alternative/indie rock. Better Than Revenge, State Of Grace and I Can See You are all rock songs, but they sound so different that they are part of other sub-genres like pop-punk, country-rock and alternative/indie rock. So I'm including sub-genres because of this.

It’s so sad. I’ll admit I was hesitant to be open about my enjoyment for Taylor’s music because so many people act like her music is horrible. She has some genuinely good songs. It seems like the hate started in the 1989 era after Shake It Off, then she gained respect after folklore, and now people are back to hating on her again because she’s the biggest celebrity in the world right now.

Kinda accurate, I never loved or hated Taylor's music, just thought it was generic, but I decided to research about her by watching her documentary, KZfaq videos on how her Taylor's Versions work and I have to say, that really changed my pov on her. People that make hating on celebrities their whole personality are always worse than people making loving celebrities their whole personality. At least the people who love the celebrities are more positive and less depressing to be around. I think a lot of points as to why people hate Taylor swift make no sense. I haven’t been following peoples opinions on Taylor swift for long but I have been a fan since debut. I think people saying she only makes breakup songs is so so wrong. I don’t even think at least 20% of her songs are breakup songs. All these male pop stars and rap artists make all these breakup songs but no one cares. It makes no sense to slut shame her. Every celebrity that worked with Taylor swift always talked so positively about her so I have a hard time believing random people that say she is a bad person. The only reason I can think of is valid reason to dislike Taylor swift is the amount of attention the media gives. I have been apart of the nfl fanbase and it is far more toxic than swifties. Mainly because most the people that like the nfl like to get drunk and fight. Every game I been to had a fight near me and some had multiple. I’m glad I’m not a part of that fanbase anymore. I know a lot of swifties and none of them were even a little toxic towards other fanbases but that’s probably because they are mostly older people. I don’t care to be liked by these toxic people that claim we are all bad. Imo the people saying a whole fanbase is full of bad people are actual bad people. Ignorance is why I think they are bad people. It is okay to not like Taylor’s music and say her singing isn’t that good if you think that but I think it makes no sense to say she has zero talent. She can play multiple instruments, perform for long hours, and she is good with business and marketing. In conclusion, everyone has haters. I’m satisfied knowing the success Taylor has and the impact she is making on so many people.

I really needed this because my cousin recently became a Taylor Swift hater and started bashing me for liking her. We always got along and he respected me for liking her, but now he complains about her 24/7, saying the classic “all her songs are terrible” “they all sound the same” bs like that. He’s only heard her radio hits and keeps judging her because of Shake It Off. I’m not a fan of the song either but there are amazing underrated songs by her that hit hard. One song does not decide if a singer is bad or not.

I never got the hate for Taylor. People act like she makes the worst music ever, and that she’s popular for no reason. It’s ok if you don’t like her music, but it’s easy to see why she’s so big. She works hard and stays in the spotlight, keeps a clean image and her music can be listened to by all ages.

I like some of Taylor’s music (not a full blown Swifty, but she is a very talented artist), but I had always bought into the criticism of all her songs being about break ups. So I really appreciate you pointing out that MALE ARTISTS sing about women and relationships ALL THE TIME! You are totally right and it completely shifted my perspective. Now, listen to Debut (Taylor Swift by Taylor Swift), and when you’re done, go listen to Midnights. Do they sound the same? No! And it isn’t just different albums, there are also different songs on the same album that sound incredibly different. For example, if you listen to Haunted and Mean right next to eachother, you’d be so confused and wondering if you’re even listening to the same album.

Basically, You’re telling me that you did not actually listen to their songs or you’re too slow to understand the difference between all of their songs.
