I thought I had my Christmas cards all planned out; I even bought a few supplies to make them. But now I'm thinking I'd like to make the wreaths ... IF I can find the supplies. I love how you create a run on supplies. What a fantastic artist you are. Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement that we, too, can create like you do.

What a fun technique. I love the layering of these stamps and honestly I didn't see that before you actually stamped them with inks. I love the blue bling you added to the Christmas card

Great video with so much great info! The ombre ink pads seem amazing and the perfect thing to have when layering stamps! The Hero Arts Stamp set used is great, and I am not just saying that because I love trees. (Well, maybe I am a bit partial. haha) Love the tone on tone backgrounds for the two cards and all the vivid colors used on the bird card! Fun designs for this hop!

Great technique. I have always shied away from ombre ink pads but I think I will give them a try.

+Jeanineq Gordon I don't think you will disappointed. They are a lot of fun to play with and takes out all of the guess work of trying to find the colors that would go together to make that beautiful gradient of colors. Just make sure you take Jennifer's advice on shimmying (or as she puts it and does the cha-cha) across all three little pads otherwise you will get very distinctive lines in your image instead of the nice blend between the colors. Hope this helps you decide whether or not you are going to give them a try :)

Jennifer I was noticing that some of the pads look separated in between the colors and some are not. Did they change the design of the pad? You are so amazing with all your ideas and techniques! Thanks for sharing.

love those cards i must have the tree set. i don't like versa mak ink i couldn't get it to work for me so i bought recollections clear ink its great.

I may have i like the Recollections pad it even comes with a refill bottle its no big deal just odd everyone else seems to have no problem with the other could be me to.

I love your cards. I bought the HA tree stamp set about a month ago after seeing an example card. I knew right away what I would be using for my Christmas cards. Love it! I have a question about the ombre ink pads. Are they made up of the original HA shadow ink colors? For example, what 3 colors make up the green ink pad?

+alex 0312 this is NOT the stores fault - I promise. hero arts is out of stock on most because they manufacturer of their clear stamps is behind. i know everyone is working to get them! :)

I'm new to this craft and because I have none of the supplies I'd like to start with a project (with its attendant supply list and thank you for your terrifically complete lists by-the-way; they are a thing of beauty as are your vids. I love them.) but if I can't get everything at once without undue time on the internet searching or on wild goose chases to craft stores, then I'm not going to purchase anything. The whole thing seems to feed upon itself; creating a false scarcity of items that leads to hoarding and bulk buying by a few people who seem to have untold amounts of time to sit at the computer looking for stuff to buy. Looking at "haul" videos brings this point home *shudder*.... Ah well not your problem to solve and I'll just keep watching your brilliant videos and hoping to try, soon, one of the projects. 👍🏻😏

+alex 0312 i assure you that no one wants these products to be out of stock! the stores are frustrated, the companies are frustrated. there are only a few US manufacturers of stamps. and (thankfully!) a lot of stamp companies are doing well, so the manufacturers are behind. I also don't think people are spending untold amounts of time shopping. most stores have a "let me know when it is back in stock" feature. It is all supposed to be happy and fun and enjoyable. :)
