OMD had the most INCREDIBLE crowd reaction to their set at Let’s Rock, in 2023. It’s the first time I’ve seen them play live and was literally blown away by the atmosphere (I was on the front row!)
Andy McCluskey kindly agreed to have a chat with me about that awesome day and how special it was for him too…

Thank you for posting this interview. I love OMD! The are so much fun live. Andy McCluskey never runs out of energy! The first time I saw them in concert was at in 1989 at the DNA Lounge, San Francisco. I've seen them every time they've toured ever since, but now in NYC.

Good grief..saw omd in early 80s at Liverpool Empire and Manchester Apollo..Preston guild Hall....danced like mad and just relistening to old stuff . Big part of my teenage years..thank you.

To rhyme off who I have records from the era in my loft.. omd, human League,Duran Duran, tears for fears, joy division,/ new order, sparks,Ultravox,Japan,Depeche mode,yazoo, blancmange, Adam and the ants, visage, blondie,kraftwerk...bloody hell...oh altered images..flock of seagulls...probably loads more...it was a superb time for music and a lot still sounds good today..try to interview Phil Oakley or midge ure...keep up the memories please..thanks v much..❤️
