I find it disturbing he didn't mention any aura curses. They would be devastating in an Eriette deck. But yes. Giving Eriette hexproof or indestructible would be ideal.

Love the brew, though I am surprised that you didn't include the 3 impetus cards, at least Martial and parasitic, I understand Ghoulish is not budget right now. Other suggestions would be the Link cards (Spirit, vampiric, and soul link) which give old school life link which is worded that even enchanting an opponent's creature heals you. There is also Vow of Duty and Vow of Torment to help when your commander is inevitably removed.

Screams from Within is great token removal and stays on the board for pretty long allowing allot of replayability with this enchantment for 3 cmc.

I think the Bestow creatures could be fun here as when they fall off your opponent's creatures dying you get the creature out of it. Also some old goofy cards like Enchanted Being could fit here as they don't take damage from enchanted creatures and could make for a decent blocker in case they take out your commander.

This commander looks like an incredible amount of fun. Would be great to see the non-budget version if money was no issue. Would be great to add it to all your videos. You build some fantastic decks.

I'm building her right now, all of the cards you want for her are super cheap. A non budget version would probably come in around 2-300 dollars. Replenish is the only card that's super expensive, and that's only because it's on the RL. It turns out when your commander wants a bunch of bulk common and uncommon auras, you can build it for cheap.

I thought she sounds good, but not fun. What's gonna happen isbthat you just gonna buff/debuff your oponents creature and auto win without counterplay. Or your commander gets perma removed so you auto loose... nice ig

@egghunter2122 Doesn't even need to be perma-removed... all it takes is getting unsummoned and the table is free to beat you into the dirt until it's replayed.

Problem is that whenever I got Eriette onto the battlefield, she was instantly the target of many kill and burn spells thus rendering her abilities useless and your auras end up biffing your opponents creatures instead of hindering them. So without protection on your commander, this deck fails hard. It's a nice concept but it could use some refining.

Don't cast Eriette until you've got the board under control. Use the enchantments that goad your opponents creatures. Wait until you've got protection lined up or some boots. The excuse of "whenever I cast my general it's targeted" is so tired.

I’m confused. A lot of the enchantments you are using are not auras . Eriette needs auras for her effect. Am I missing something here?

I think many of the older enchantments being listed have an errata to be considered Auras

So I have a rulings question, when they say enchantments under your control does that mean auras that are on opponents creatures that you put on? Or just auras that are on your creatures on your board?

You control your auras even if they enchant another player or their permanents. (CR 303.4e)

I didn't see it in there, but you could run hateful eidilon so you can get some draw power from your opponents creatures that die with your auras on them, always fun to throw a Dead Weight into an indestructible creature and watch people seeth when they die and you draw a card

This seems.great and looks like a lot of fun! The only problem is that with no commander in play your game looks a bit too compromised. Maybe would be useful to throw in some protection for it? Like boots or spells like reprieve?

In my playgroup hexproof becomes an issue with decks like these, I donno about budget friendly but I’d suggest, arcane lighthouse, detection tower, glaring spotlight.

Spirit Loop is under $1. Is recursive AND I’m pretty sure you’d gain the life even if it’s on their creature.

I will build her with also a lot of curses that i can put on players to debuff them. It should be a fun deck. The only imperative is to protect eriette. The obvious are swift boots, lightning greaves, reanimation spells/aura. Fortunatly eriette is cheap at 3 mana so you can recast her like...2 or 3 times before it's starting to get really hard

I am absolutely shocked that he didn’t put Greed in this deck. It’s reliable card draw. Works with the discount cards since it’s an encampment. You gain life so the pay two life it’s that bad. The card is like $0.40 I highly recommend putting it in this deck

I'm slightly disappointed you didn't address the biggest downside of Eriette, if she gets taken out your protection from the creatures you've enchanted evaporates. You have to concentrate on protecting Eriette first, or use less beneficial enchantments for them over all. The Vow and Impetus cards are the best examples of this. Lifelink auras won't do you any good(The creatures controller gains the life), but Spirit/Soul/Vampiric Link will gain you the life the creature deals in damage.

I agree. This looked like a fantastic list up until the point I realized the deck is moot if she gets targeted (I do think she’ll be a remove on sight commander). Anyone have any protection recommendations?

I’ve seen some people discuss still including true pacifisms in an Eriette deck. You don’t get the goad effect, but it increases the x of your end step trigger and can be used on the pieces on your opponents board you really want to remove

The only thing I'd be careful with this card is things that cause myriad like blade of selves. Easy way to get around her Aura blocking.

And I know you would think Sanguine Bond would be good in this deck but you don't gain enough life to make it worth it. I know this was a budget video but Exquisite Blood works much better in this deck. If you had 5 auras, you gain 5 life, then drain for 5 to 3 opponents, then gain 15 life. Just sayin

Opponent A swings with a 10/10 at opponent B. I have Sigarda's Aid out and before damage I flash in Vampiric Link enchanting the 10/10. I then gain 10 life and drain opponent B for another 10.

Omega? Really? Mitch, I love you but stop being so bombastic. Where's the draw? Where's the ramp? They're the omega level. Its good but not omega.
