Thanks for the video. I never considered the Omega but was interested in the UN. This video helped me 3 months ago to decide if I want it. Now I have the same watch but with black dial and white indexes :-) Lovely watch! Fancy but not pretentious. By the way, my first luxury watch was Seamaster 300m 41mm, that watch was a perfect size and I personally like it more than the current 42mm

UN is simply on another level. Omega on the other hand is the best for the money.

I couldn’t agree more. UN is on another level in many aspects, but of course similar pricing and both amazing diving timepieces.

Definitely an excellent feature on the Omega. Not the most useful though with it most likely not used by many because it is for professional divers. Most people who buy the Omega will wear it in an office haha. Overall on a finishing and build aspect the UN is superior. The Omega is still amazing and an excellent competitor to the submariner making the team at Rolex sweat a little haha.

I have similar wrist with you. How does the mesh bracelet feel when it’s sized down? Does it bulk up on the side or have a overlarge clasp?

Nice presentation. Honestly though I look at these the same way I look at a Lamborghini.. can appreciate the craftmanship and beauty, but they're out of my price range! Plus I'm extremely rough on jewlery so rarely wear any except a ring. :)

Sorry but why worry about that when you can get a rolex explorer? (or save some more and get a sub no date)? It makes no sense.

suckgames Probably because you can’t get a sub no date for the listed msrp or maybe because even a used no date is going for over 10k here in the states, so why bother with false supply and massive inflation when these two watches are readily available for half the price or less possibly.

UN wins this one for me with the much more cohesive and attractive design The Omega movement is head and shoulders above.. but I don't really care so long as the Sellita has reasonable accuracy.

Honestly not even close. If you want a diver with a sellita movement you can get an Oris with similar specs for a third of the price of the UN. (Probably even less than that) The Seamaster has a better movement, is more iconic, from a much better known brand, and will have a better resale value if you ever wanted to sell it, and it's $1300 cheaper. Guessing the sponsor told you to use the UN? I'm sure they're having trouble moving them.

Really? That’s bullshit. They changed the escapement and you can’t compare this seamaster to the quality. UN SHITS ON OMEGA 1. Bezel action and feel 2. Screw down case back with SCREWS 3. Bracelet quality and butterfly clasp on UN (not Milanese) shits on omega 4. Accuracy of UN is +1 daily where my seamaster is +3.5 and I had multiples of them in different colors blue and black... 5. The rubber bezel insert over SS is amazing and shits on the cheap ceramic/enamel of omega 6. Crown action on UN.. can’t compare to omegas caliber... Oh and discount on UN at 40% makes it a much better value

I'm personally for the UN, yes I know it will loose value like mad and its only a sellita movement but its unique and has more class than the omega.

Omega is much more recognized brand. UN is "luxury" brand with 40-50% discounts on all their models it is invicta class rofl

@@batkorub When you buy a watch you are not buying a movement you are buying a watch. Even Omega uses ETA modified movements Only Rolex offers complete in house with sports watches but again you are not buying a movement.

The Omega looks like a toy, way too shiny, the bezel is too thick, bezel numbers too bold and big and the waves are overkill, too much going on especially with that bracelet. I have the previous version which looks much better but I'm tempted to sell it due to the ugly looking bracelet.
