I’ve had the black-eyed blue as my daily wearer for 10 years; never had an issue with it. Took it to an Omega boutique in London to see if it required servicing, they said, it’s running just fine! Love this piece!

Does it wear like a 15mm thickness or wear thinner?

I love mine, just under a 7" wrist. The lug to lug is not huge. Overall it does not feel like a big watch. I own the black on black and its a stunning piece, hope that helps.

I had written this one off, based on some saying it's off their list because it's way too thick. I have a 6.5" wrist and was pleasantly surprised at how thin it actually wears. I have a lighter weight Seiko at 13mm and the Omega feels lighter and wears flatter than the Seiko. The case back literally disappears on my wrist and the watch sits flat. I absolutely love the way it fits on my small wrist. No way it's too thick. You'll have to try one to see. I tried it just for fun with no intention to buy a 15+mm watch, but came home with it and never looked back. Specs don't really say how a watch will fit and this is a prime example.

What’s the difference between 38mm and 40mm speedmaster

Aside from the sizes, the 38mm Speedmaster has a dressier flair, while these 40mm Speedmaster Racing watches are sportier with their racing-style dials.
