This makes his ult better for ecos, because while you could get guns before from a distance, it was hard to know exactly where they dropped. Now you can just ult the area

Yeah no... It's still doesn't upgrade the omen ult mind game, they knew that omen can close the door with his ult...so his ulting and they hear the door closed in other side is no different with they know he's ulting to other side without closed the door hell if i think more about it... It give u more disadvantage cuz they will know your exact position cuz you need to ult near the Lever to close the door

I think a cool mechanic would be if, once inside the omen ult as the shade. You could use shrouded step or paranoia before you stick or cancel. Probably too op but it would be cool

you can already take weapon on floor... You just have to throw your marshall for instance in eco and teleport on body and after you will have a vandal if you do it correctly

This opens up the potential play where you ult while someone on the enemy team is trying to throw an op off the map , and you just snatch it out of the air mid process

This change is mostly purely cosmetic. You could pick up guns before and the spike does not require F in order to pick it up. Riot has said that. The only real change is able to close the door.

dont know about the door but you could always pick up guns with omen ult, its actually annoying..when you ult to grab the spike and its on top of several guns you sometimes swap your guns and come back with a freaking stinger

No you can still stand on it and pick it up, but now you can interact on things while in ult so ideally, you can do multiple things in ult so tp on bomb and pick up your dead teammates gun, etc.

i am pretty sure that this was avaible before, espacially picking up stuff, maybe they just added the text above the items, but as an omen main, i used my ult a lot on eco rounds to get the weapons of enemys after somebody killed them in an open field where u cant get the weapon easily.

i think it will only auto collect the gun if you don't have anything in that slot, otherwise you'll have to interact with it to swap guns

Well before you must tp above the spike which is kinda risky because one of the enemy would probably camp on spike but now they added this which actually makes it easier.
