We did Surat to Patiala in Sunny 3 years ago...Straight 28 hours with some 4-5 hours break. Nissan's engine is just awesome. Mileage ~ 22kmpl

I am looking to buy a compact SUV, I am considering Nissan Kicks but a few things are bothering me. Hope you will be able to answer my following queries: 1. The car interior does look premium but on the practical front, do you thing the dashboard of the car will stay near for a long time. It is leather wrapped, I feel even a small cut may spoil it. 2. About practicality, I heard it does not have too much storage space in the front, Eg. No cupholders, only one deep cubby hole near the handbrake area to keep all your stuff, the front armrest does not have any opening not is adjustable etc. What are your views about it? Will it affect me on a daily drive? 3. I have researched about NISSANs after sales service and I am not too happy after reading the reviews posted by plenty of users about their NISSAN SUNNY. Also the Network does not seem so widespread. Also are the spares super expensive? 4. Should I wait for XUV300 or Hyundais upcoming compact SUV or go for the mainstream ones like Brezza or Nexon right away.

Sirji. You are right. Truck driver are not sensitised about the highway traffic ettiquets especially on NH 8. Experienced it many times on my regular travelling on this patch right from mumbai to Jaipur and further.

I own the top model of the Kicks XV premium optional diesel BSIV. It's wonderful car. I have driven 800 km at one go through hilly terrains of Northeast India. It's too good. Excellent riding comfort. Excellent performance in hilly roads. Overall mileage 20 kmpl with Eco mode. Highway mileage as high as 21 kmpl with AC. Yes, clutch and hand brakes were issues initially. Now I am completely used to it. I strongly recommend this car. Far far better than Creta.

Amit Ji...good one. I follow your most of the videos and few points about my high way experience will share separately with you if I could get your cobtacts Seperately. By the I have a point on these top end vehicles. Most of the features in top end are useless but very few are really helpful. Consumers need to influence manufacturers to opt the features of our own choice. For example, brake assist and four+ airbags are really really safe but are available in only and only in top end variant of all the car manufacturers. (Rest of the features like cruise control, sun roof etc are not that much useful.) What do you think?
